The Half-Blood Wizard: Thief Of Time

“Run!” The cry was followed by the appearance of a small sand vortex beside me. I knew that it was the Manjis. I wanted to follow their words, but my legs seemed to freeze on the spot. “Tha, Run!!” This time, they shouted at me. However, just like before, my legs were unable to move. I asked myself what was going on right now, but I couldn't find the answer. I gasped again when the strains of the song sounded from my cell phone. An incoming call. 'Tha, where are you?' Mala's voice sounded so panicked. “In front of a shop. I was asked by my friend to take her to buy paper” My words were dumbfounded and reflected confusion.  'Run out of that place!’ Mala screamed from the other end. 'Fast!' Both asked me to leave this place immediately.  Hastily I took my bicycle and pedaled quickly. Just a few strokes away from the building, I looked back and found one of Manji standing in front of the shop, a bow in his hand. A clump of sand flew low beside me, who was pedaling my bicycle. The sand slowly formed a dove which then flew ahead of me. The Manjis seemed to be asking me to follow the dove. Now, this place was like a maze. I still remember when we came down from the main road earlier, we only had to go into the alley and walk straight until we arrived. However, right now, even until eight o'clock at night, I couldn't get out of this place yet. Dark and tired, I forced myself to continue pedaling my bicycle, following the dove that was now slowly glowing in flames, helping me a little to see in the dark.  ... "Forty years ago, there was a mass death of half-blood people. Those who initially looked healthy in the morning suddenly died in the afternoon. Even the best healing wizard abilities are incapable of healing them, as their spells simply do not work against what they are. Today, the creature is in the border forest of the village where I live, " I said. The surprised expression couldn't hide Azalea, and I saw it. "How did you know that?!"I gasped when he asked in a raised tone. "I won't tell you."I looked at the pair of eyes now looking at me intently, which were always able to give off an aura of intimidation. "I came here because I feared the same thing would happen again. I don't know where to go because I'm a half-blood. There are so many bad things that could happen to me if it were to happen again." Some time passed with silence. Azalea and I looked at each other with our minds until I finally decided to leave the room, but she forbade me. "I'll ask you again, who told you this?!"Azalea seems very angry. Maybe this is why Antonie forbade me to tell the truth because he knew that the woman would be this angry. "Sorry, I can't tell you."I showed an expression of regret. "He was the one who saved me so that I can be here now." "Antonie?!"I was just silent when Azalea mentioned that name. "Am I right?!" under his piercing gaze, I seemed hypnotized and nodded my head. "Only he knows that none of the Wizards are capable of healing them," I thought. I would find another rage, which Azalea would show after hearing that Antonie was still alive, even though that man had also helped me come to this place. However, I was wrong. I just saw the woman's expression. "So you're here to run?." ____________________________ *** Follow My Book Dear ^^ *** Tale Of The Half-Blood Wizard Stealing The Wife's First Kiss Once A CEO Wife ____________________________ ************************ Updates every day at (GMT+8) 07.00 AM ************************ #Meet me on instragram: bluehadyan #Discord : bluehadyan#7481

15. The name 'Younha'

A person who is born from one of the parents who has wizard blood is called mixed blood. Some mixed-blood inherent magical abilities, but some don't. One example is my father, who was born to a grandfather who was a human, and my grandmother who turned out to be of mixed blood.

'Surprised?' Me too. I always thought that grandma was purebred, but in reality, she wasn't. 'Then, what about my status?' I was of mixed blood, just like my father. The wizard blood of my great grandfather was with me, although I had not inherited any abilities from him.

Perhaps this was the problem, my mixed-blood status and my overly interfering with this creature's affairs with wandering spirits. Previously, I never had a problem with this, until finally, I did. I remembered my mother's order that we should never use our father's last name, 'Yuoenha'. I always thought that it was due to their bad relationship. Today, I realized, the order wasn't entirely due to that. I always used my mother's last name 'Foetida', including my brother. Using the mother's last name was not common while you still had a father, and it was legally clear that the parents were not divorced.

Mother's purpose for forbidding the use of the name 'Younha', was probably also meant to hide our identity as mixed blood. 'Who do you think doesn't know Youenha?' No one. That's why my brother and I always used the surname or mother's name everywhere, even at work.

"Nymphs. We call the creature Nympha. There is no clear history of how these creatures were born and then exist in this world" The white camellia handed me a dry leaf. I took it without knowing what that meant.

"That name is just the name we gave to it because this creature is actually just a collection of energy that comes from nature. We think he might be like the nympha, but we still don't know if this creature is really one of the nymphs or not" Red camellia looked worried as she was about to say it. "I don't know how to explain it."

Taking the outline from the pair of camellia's explanation, these creatures were actually just a collection of energies. This Nympha was almost similar to the Manji. They had the properties of seekers, only their existence was so weak and the fact that they were actually just energy, not true creatures like the Manjis.

Nymphs often took on a physical form resembling water. They described this Nympha like a light, you knew its existence even if you couldn't touch it. That's what the Nympha was like to them.

The appearance of the Nympha, several decades ago, was thought to purify the descendants of the wizards by massacring the mixed-bloods. However, it was never known why Nympha did so. After slaying nearly all of the mixed-bloods, Nympha suddenly disappeared.

His next appearance was twenty-eight years ago, just one year before my birth. On this second appearance, Nympha was not at all intrusive. It even often appeared among the humans and more often just remained silent.

These creatures existed, but it might make you think they didn't exist. Antonie argued that the existence of Nympha had a cycle. There were times when they were in a passive state, and perhaps at certain times, they became very active. Their cycle was what made you think that they were not bound by time. This cycle was also what made them appear unnoticed and leave without us noticing them.

"I think, this is the second purification, he will start slaughtering mixed blood again" Antonie looked at me seriously. "Its body is actually fickle. I still remember when it first appeared, its body was like a rotting corpse with only the remains of flesh clinging to the bones and giving off a very foul smell. I almost fainted from the smell, even though I was so far away from it."

I didn't understand here, Antonie said that he smelled Nympha's rotten scent, but nothing happened to him. "Are you still okay?" I asked curiously.

"Antonie is pure blood. He comes from the highest caste of wizards with the most unique ability; illusion. He is able to cheat death" I was really surprised when I heard the explanation of the white camellia, this obscure creature who was with me turned out to be an important person. "He was expelled from his clan because of his ability" I looked at Antonie who didn't seem to care about their words. He took my chocolate cake and started to play with it.

"Delicious?" said Antonie. "For me, huh?" Without waiting for my approval, he devoured the cake without a burden. 'Good grief! Not only his abilities that were unique but also his behavior that is too unique or strange!' I grumbled in my heart.

Yes, I've heard this before, Antonie and Zarina were two close friends. They were two intelligent wizards who were exiled because of their unique abilities. Zarina chose to stay away from the wizard group and stayed alone, while Antonie, could see that he wandered around and always wore a different body like a beach snail.

"You" the red camellia pointed at me. "Better be careful. It was completely unpredictable. It could be as inactive as it is now, but maybe it could also turn out to be very dangerous," He warned. "Honestly, your grandmother wasn't able to solve the problems Nympha created."

After hearing their story, I was getting scared. Even my grandmother who was able to master magic couldn't do anything, what about me? Antonie asked me to run and hide, whereas I myself did not know how long to do that. If that thing lived forever, then I would stay in camp alpha. Honestly, I didn't want this, I really wanted to stay here.

"Is there any other way, other than me having to hide? If I'm the only one hiding, then what about the fate of the other half-bloods? Why should we be exterminated? If we really shouldn't exist, shouldn't wizards also not be allowed to marry humans?" It was really annoying when you had to bear a sin that you never even committed.

"Why me?" I felt like I'd just been released from the crocodile's mouth when I thought I'd escaped Antonie's illusion, but now I was trapped in the quicksand again. "This is very annoying!."
