Predator vs Prey II

As soon as I was able to get a glimpse of the weapons I will use, I smiled. The fact that I now possess a weapon unknown to these men will be an advantage for me.

I grab ahold of one of the most unique weapon that I didn't knew exist. A chained scythe, a scythe with a chain so long it can cut half enemies even from afar. And with its irradiating crimson aura, the blade only hides the disgusting sight of the bloods that soon splash from the victims' bodies.

I swing it around, with enough room for me to move. While I rethink of my current position, being surrounded by this people, I tried to hide my figure from them by using the blades to create a never-ending smoke from the ground.

Though I am powerful, I am still yet experienced a real life and death battles. I did had a few fights with the wilds, but it was nothing similar to this.

Their poison blades that crawls within those shining metals despite the pouring rain are enough to kill an elephant a hundred times. Not only that, a few of them currently holds a power that is a lot more powerful than the man I once fought.

"Tsk. This mission is far from being finished. Czen, return to the guild and ask for reinforcement. The man is-"

"Oh no, you don't!"

Before they could even finish their conversation, I held the chained scythe and swing it to their direction.

The force of impact resulted a clean cut of his body, I can see from his face as his body flew to the ground that even he cannot comprehend what just happened. And not only him, but a few assassin started to become hesitant as soon as they realize they are now in a disadvantage position.

However, they seem to be a brave warriors that will either accomplish their mission or die trying. In their eyes, my figure is reflected giving me an obvious idea that they will soon do something I won't be able to expect.

As such, I decided to retreat a few step back. I also changed my weapon to that of a kalis, a wavy blade that can cut anything more efficient that a normal sword.

Soon, before I could even prepare myself. The assassins made their move. One by one, they throw a poisoned knife. Though such tactic is futile, with the higher the number they send, the more it will lessen my concentration to my surrounding.

But if I were them, I would probably do something an enemy won't expect. If an enemy like myself is powerful enough to overwhelm their great numbers, they are always prepared for such.

And so, gradually, the enemies' blades soon diminished. However, the number of my enemy also increased.

I made sure that none of them leave the premises. I even had a trouble to just keep them from escaping. However, I soon realize it.

All of them began to attack me at the same time. Their poisoned blades are no more so they are now relying on their rapier that once hides in their waist behind their dark robes.

With their skill and number, I am almost overwhelmed. Thankfully, due to my increase of intelligence I am now able to see the tricks in their sleeves.

I reequipped the chained scythe, swing it down from their feet and I can see very well that these figures are clones made from waters.

I can also see that some of their comrades' corpses started to move as if awakening from their slumber.

This is disgusting.

But what can I do.

"You all will do anything to survive and complete your mission. I admire that. However, I too am deeply in need of survival. So, I might as well end it here."

The crimson blades that was now in passive suddenly and deliberately turned their edges to the assassins. At that moment they knew, they fucked up.

All blades that I control soon flew in their respective victims. Either slicing or stabbing their bodies until all of them fell dead.

It was a good show of cooperation and teamwork, but it is still not enough to give me a clean hit. I may be a lone person but with the blades by my side, they are nothing but toys in need of disposal.

As I finished wrapping up things within the vicinity, I made a slight turn to the audiences. I can see some armored personnel pointing their fragile spear towards my position defending the people from me.

When I met his gaze, his body tremble. Knees became weak and the aim of the spear became less accurate. It seems that he have seen the battle fought not too long ago and only doing his job thinking something will not happen to him.

Unlucky for him, I have no mood to give mercy to those who dare bare their fangs on me.

Since I have finished playing with the assassins, I have now the time to indulge myself to this reckless massacre that I forever thirst.

The fact that they only bare their fangs the moment they saw the person who crawls from death. Now their eyes says the contrary.

A puppy eyes that beg for mercy.

I summon the greatsword I had yet to use due to its unnecessity. The blade is covered in crimson aura, making it looks like a used battle weapon that just took place from a war.

With this, I tried to approach the bystanders who once threw a rock at me. The guard who trembled in fear from before is now nowhere to be seen.

The only thing that left is the spear that currently being held a boy no older than 10. I got curious, his eyes seems deep in hatred yet he feels a great sense of bravery. A fellow who is both innocent and tainted by the world.

Sadly, he will have to die here.

I withheld the weapon in hand, raised it to the air and attempted to strike the people in one shot. However, before I could even do so,

"Vien Louis, please do stop this nonsense. Her Majesty asked for your audience."

An authoritarian voice soon came from behind me. Though I didn't sense it's coming, I managed to put on my guards just in time.

As I turn, I see an albino lady, who is dressed in a maid clothes with a hint of calmness being emitted from her body.

As soon as turn against the people, she made a little curtsy and approached me with ease. She seems to be not afraid of me as we both stare at each other's eyes before she near to me.

Her gazes met mine and because of that, I was able to see her beautiful oceanic eyes. Before long, she handed me a letter with a perfectly sealed crest in front.

A two-headed griffin. A mythical creature in legends that once said to have conquered the lands of human. Capable of being as intelligent as them, and as powerful as a once almighty dragons.

This crest can only be used by one person in this continent.

"Her majesty seeks your audience, it would be wise to follow me."

"And if I don't?"

"Then it will be an official declaration of wag against the entirety of Ibra."

"You seem to be confused, I am not the one who-"

"It is still her order to meet you. That is all, and if you may?"

She then pointed out the weapons that floats and currently threatening the civilian.

If not for her beauty, I would've cut her tongue and body clean as soon as she approached me. But this might be also a good idea to confront those disgusting abusive royalty.

Either way, now is not the time to make further mess. And thus, I decided to throw the greatsword and followed the lady.

Still, I kept my power and the blades as precaution. I can't from this succumbing desire of mine and compromise my wellbeing.
