Center Of Attraction

This is bad.

Since I was born in this world, I have been focusing on the content of my mission. With enough caution to even hide my power to those who are close to me.

I decided it was for the best, not only for me, but for the people who will soon meet the disaster the guardian mentioned.

However, my power unknown to this people was revealed. A power that should've been left hidden in my status. I Concealed it for a reason yet it was activated automatically in the face of danger.

No, it was me who activated it.

I didn't think much through about the consequences I will soon face. I just acted in instinctive manner, a behavior I have always avoid.

"To fight such person who has the ability to force me out of my dungeon."

I mutter, staring at the man responsible for my awakening. His iron armor covered in blood while lying on the floor unconscious. I stare at him, with my mind giving him respect.

But I can't forever take my time here since the people are starting to come to their senses after the intense battle. So, I chose to run, with the same speed of the sound, and made my way towards my room without anyone noticing me.

I took my way towards the opened window of my room, and lock the door thoroughly. I sit on my bed, thinking through the things I just did once again.

It was a complete blunder.

I sigh, disappointed to myself who lacks self-control. Such person who suddenly cause an incident right outside the academy, and will attend them. Will I even be able to enter the academy with everything I have done?

I lay down to my bed, closed my eyes, not realizing that I have fallen asleep early in the morning. This sleep deprivation has caused me too much trouble since I began my adventure.

I needed to rest properly.

-----

It was not even just me, but the entire people who saw the fight is stunned. It wasn't until the person of attraction left with high speed that we realize the battle has finished.

With him being the victory, over a veteran soldier who currently works as adventurer. Why do I know this?

That's because I can appraise people, using the power blessed by the Goddess of Sight, Theia.

However, I can't appraise the man while in the process of their fight. His movement is too fast, but the real problem is his status. It cannot be seen, even with the level of my blessing.

At first, I thought he was losing. The adventurer certainly has the advantage due to his experience. The man is mere rooki in terms of his look.

Then suddenly, as if a sign were made by the gods especially for him, a high-level lightning struck the ground, covering his surrounding.

Right at that moment, the battle turned. The adventurer was greatly overwhelmed by the man, with both speed and strength greater than his which is also impressive for adventurers.

"My lady, the time of your exam has been scheduled."

It was Marx, a butler of mine who made his way through the crowds to inform me. His feature is that of an old, white bearded man. Though his age is not that old enough to be called as grandpa.

He also have a nice body figure meant only to protect me from danger that lurks in every corner. But I am the daughter of his excellency, the Duke. Why do I only have one sole servant in my side?

That's because Marx is a superhuman with the ability equal to a thousand army. He can defeat even the strongest assassin there is in the dark guild. Even before I needed him, he was beside my father, destroying pest in my father's stead.

I admire his power, despite not having much magical power. He is the sole figure I look up when I think about commoners. I have never seen someone fight honorably, and gracefully like him.

Not until today.

"Did you see him, Marx?"

Upon speaking my question, he bow his head and respectfully answer my question without trying to offend me in the slightest.

"Of course, my lady. He has such a good power, a power I certainly can admire."

To think he also have the same mindset as my father. To teach a weak, and admire the strong. They truly resemble each other.

"Truly, now, let us go before we got scolded by the examiner!"

It was truly an amazing sight for the first time since I got here.

----

It was a man's nightmare to see another man dominate him. Dominance is a man's greatest trait after all.

It was also a fear we all best to avoid.

However, despite not being the man crushed by the boy who has an immense power, I can feel the shiver running down my spine. It was as if those attacks are directed towards me, unable to evade it.

Those flying swords which seems to be controllable by the user, those unimaginable speed, strength. They are something that came out of the ancient record book.

As if he knew already that the battle fought, is for him. He fought gloriously, but with no honor. He mock the man but not in his words but action.

He is the embodiment of a high human, a race that used to lurk on this planet. If not for the great disaster, they would've probably eliminated the lower beings and rule the surface of this world.

"What do you think, professor Xerath?"

"Headmaster."

The person who spoke is none other than the person who requested the construction of this opportunity. A person who has high intellectual who manage to have the favor of Her Majesty. Headmaster Joaquim Densia of Viscount Densia.

"His stance, his battle style. If it's not due to his inexperience, it's our lack of knowledge. That man fought without honor, humiliating the person who fell victim to his overwhelming power. The person created by the gods to mock us."

A higher being.

"Perhaps, the new batch has many promising students. That boy included."

"He's included?!"

"Yes, and you will teach them, including the students of uppernobles and his highness himself. I expect great achievements from your students, professor."

I am speechless.

To think I would even teach this troublesome person, and not only that, the high status nobles and his majesty.

How will I end up then?
