"Are you satisfied now?" The voice on his back rose up

Zakai regretted his choice "Yes."

"Are you sure?" Dryad said, teasing him

"Shut up and tell me what the Tree of Qliphoth is," Zakai said, ignoring the voice

"Oh, how did you learn about that?" The dryad asked

"Not telling," Zakai said, thinking

She didn't know what happened huh?

"Big sis will tell you now." The dryad said, "The Tree of Qliphoth is a magic channel that connects to the underworld."

"And?"

"If opened, demons and devils will swarm the world and slay everyone."

"How do you open it?" Zakai asked

"I don't know." The dryad shrugged "The only reason I know is that it's linked to a ritual only the elfes could use."

"Oh?"

"Im not telling you." The dryad said

Zakai looked down at his reflection and wondered

Why did he feel the urge to save her?

Zakai put his hand on his handsome face

maybe the guilt? the feeling that deep down, if he took her place she could live a free life, instead of being holed up in a grimoire, limited in things you can do. 16 long Years. wouldn't that drive anyone into insanity?

Vetto's word went back to his head

"You see, young Zakai." The man placed down the baby on his lap "Once you grow older, you'll feel the urge to protect who you love the most." The man said to giggle baby "Protect them with all of your might, only then you will grow old and happy, not plagued by your past"

"I failed, uncle Vetto." Zakai gave a laugh

Zakai asked the dryad "When did he say that to me? wasn't I born in the middle of the massacre?"

"Well, you were born 2 days before the elf massacre. I don't know your memories, so don't ask me."

"What about Lila?" Zakai asked

"Huh? who's that?" The dryad said with confusion "there was no elf called Lila."

Zakai sighed, looking down at his hands that seemed to flash with blood belonging to his sibling

"Was I in the right?" Zakai muttered

she wanted death, and he didn't have a choice

Zakai thought of the location of the magic stones, and a memory popped up

Zakai's eyes flashed

"Eiden." Zakai felt a name and the general location of the next stone

AUTHOR NOTE: all the locations of the magic stones are not disclosed, so I'm making an OC place that will feed into an important aspect of an arc in the future

a large floating island appeared in his head, causing Zakai to go

"What the fuck."

The island was incredibly large and seemed to be floating in mid-air, and not in any direction almost like a stasis

"Dryad, have you ever heard of a place called "Eiden?"

"Oh, yeah. the Dwars built it protect the people from demons." The Dryad explained "The elfes and Dwarfs had a very good relationship. both were shunned by humans, and the elfes weren't good in weapon forging. they're the ones that made your father's sword before Licht used his sword magic to change the swords."

Zakai rubbed his head "Too much information, it's giving me a headache."

The dryad did a mental eye roll

"Dungeons and Eiden were built to protect the population of Dwarfs from the many ancient evils that roamed the land." The dryad said, "Does that cut it?"

"Where do the dwarfs live?" Zakai said

"I Don't know, I'm a tree in Elysia." The dryad said "I would guess they still live in a faraway continent after Eiden was destroyed"

"It was destroyed?" Zakai asked, raising his brow, trying to milk for information

"Well, it disappeared." The dryad said, "And the elf clan hasn't gone looking for them."

Zakai was thinking of telling The dryad that it was in the air but hold himself back. after all, he didn't know how old these memories were and if they were really true

"What was the dwarf's power?" Zakai asked. all races had a power, be it high mana power, strong bodies, etc

"I don't know." The dryad muttered "The dwarfs were secretive about there crafts. anyway, why do you want to know so much about dwarfs?"

"A curiosity." Zakai said "Fairytales and that lot."

Suddenly , Zakai thought of something and suspiciously asked the dryad

"Wait , if my "Younger" sister , who was old , how is that supposed to work? arent i meant to be the same age?"

The dryad was silent

"Your a coward , dryad." Zakai said

"..."

Zakai gave sigh. he didnt know where to find Eiden. its in the air somewhere , that was for sure. the only information he got about it was that picture and the fact it holds a magic stone, that was all.

So , After writing a letter and sending it to the capital as a paperaiplane , Zakai sprouted wings and started flying in the sky

he didnt know where he was going , but he just needed to scout near the border

"I don't recommend what your doi-" The dryad said , but was shot down by zakai

"Your always discouraging me from getting the truth , and its for my "Sake." Zakai said "Unless you have some information , its better to save your breath."

Zakai was getting annoyed by the dryad , that was for sure

flying up to the clouds , Zakai spent the next month and so scouting for "Eiden" but came across a fairly mana dense forest

"Oh , the witches forest." The dryad said

"Wait." Zakai said , flying down , a large part of the forest was engulfed in flames , and he sensed multiple mana signals

a large portion of witches were flying away from the flames , as Zakai flew down

a memory popped up in Zakai's head , causing him to wrench in pain

There is a magic stone , in this forest...

Zakai must find it

at all costs.
