First day of school 2

The bell rang and students came out alone or in groups of three's and four's.

It was lunchtime and the canteen was packed with people.

"El and Nyx, let's just eat outside in the campus. The canteen is full." Said Elora sighing.

"En, I think that's a good idea" said Ellie " I miss bathing in the sun and enjoying the breeze"

"Oh I know the perfect place" Nyx said excitedly

"Under the big tree near the abandoned playground!" They exclaimed at the same time and laughed.

"Wow, it's been a long time since I've come here" said Nyx breathing in the fresh air on their way to the tree. "I know right, it's been so long" Ellie replied " We were too busy these days"

Just when they sat under the tree, there was a sound coming above the branches.

"Tch.....So noisy" A boy's aloof yet calm voice was heard.

Elora's face which was delicate, her eyes twinking as the rays of the sun hits her face, illuminating her perfect nose and pink lips,became twisted. "Liam!" She shouted in anger remembering what happened in the morning. Every time she was reminded of that embarrassing moment her faced turned red due to a fit of anger.

"Oh, if it isn't Miss Goody two shoes" said Liam as he jump down the tree with a faint smile on his thin lips.

"Humph" Elora replied "Well if it isn't Mr Goody two shoes"

Nyx:........

Ellie:........

"Ahem isn't that like saying you two are a..." Said Nyx but before she could continue Elora replied hastily "That's not what I meant!"

Nyx and Ellie: Really?

But before they could continue talking any further Simmy came to inform Nyx that they we're gonna have a meeting soon.

"I have to go now, you guys have fun"

And coincidentally Ellie had to go to substitute Anna who was in charge of handing out water and towels to the basketball players.

"See ya"

So Elora and Liam were left alone

"You wanna go swimming?" said Liam

"No thanks" said Elora

"C'mon it'll be fun" said Liam smiling

This was the first time Elora saw Liam smiling and she thought he was kinda cute and approachable.

"Fine let's go after school" she finally agreed.

-At the Conference room-

"Good that we're all here now" said Damon in his hoarse and charming voice "today we're given the responsibilities to try out these new exam papers and give a report about it. We'll be grouped into two pairs. The first pair will be Simmy and Yuna, the second Chase and Belle, the third Simon and Owen, the fourth Sam and Dahlia and the last will be me and Nyx"

'What?!!!' Nyx was screaming internally 'Why me and him though? Ahh...but he's handsome and kinda cute and he's also good in studies...wait what am I even thinking?!!!' 'Nyx get a hold of yourself' Nyx was trying hard to calm down.

"We're gonna do this after school and submit the report tomorrow. That will be all." Damon continued.

-Basketball Court-

"Rick!!!!!!!! Omg!!!!!!! Rick I love you. Please marry me!!"

"I love you Rick!!!"

There were lots of girls screaming and cheering for Rick as he shoots the last goal to make his team win.

Somehow seeing how these girls were cheering for Rick, Ellie felt uneasy in her heart.

Although he looked cold and seemed to concentrate on the match, his gaze was never leaving a certain someone, the beautiful girl he had seen this morning.

"Here's your water" said Ellie passing him a bottle of water "you must be tired."

"Not really" Rick replied

As he opened the bottle of water and drank it he look so dashing that girls were starting to drool. Ellie too was almost drooling but she suppressed herself from doing so.

"I'm Rick" introduced Rick "and you are...."

"I'm Ellie you can call me El" Ellie replied

"Hey, so you wanna go out to eat something after this?" Said Rick in his voice that sounded like that of an angel's

"Sure I would love to" said Ellie

"I know this new restaurant where their foods are delicious!" said Rick smiling "I'm sure you'll love it just like I do"

"I'm sure I would" replied Ellie with a huge smile plastered on her face.

As Ellie and Rick were on their way to the restaurant they chatted and became good friends

"So you're the new transfer student in my class." Ellie said excitedly "but I don't see you that much in class."

"Yea, I'm in the school's basketball team so I practice a lot and I don't have much time to attend classes."

"Then how are going to study?" Ellie said.

"I self-study." said Rick with a faint smile on his rosy lips "Here we are."

Both Ellie and Rick had the time of their lives giggling and chatting. But what Ellie didn't know was that Tina had seen them.

"Humph.... seducing someone in broad daylight." said Tina gritting her teeth and went away " It's time you guys are replaced" Tina said with an ugly smile plastered on her fair face.

"Heyy this doesn't seem that difficult" said Nyx as she did the exam paper

Damon's eyes were fixed on Nyx the whole time. Just then, Nyx looked at Damon and their gazes were on each other.

Nyx blushed cause he looked so cool in his shirt and pants. "Are you blushing?" said Damon with a smirk on his face.

"No I'm not!!" replied Nyx "It's just that it's so hot in your house."

"By the way do you live alone?"

"Yes" Damon said while writing down the answer for one of the questions.

"Done!" said Nyx while looking at Damon "Are you done?"

"I've already finished for a long time now" said Damon looking at Nyx for the whole time.

"So you're waiting for me?" said Nyx

"Yup so let's have icecream what do you say?" Damon asked

"Sure"

While they were eating icecream Nyx got a text from Ellie

"Hey Nyx....guess what?😆"

"What?"

"I'm going out with Rick rn!!!!!Kyaaa!"

"Omggg. Good for you😆😁"

"Ikr"

As Nyx was typing Damon's eyes were locked on her phone. When Nyx realized that he was reading their text she immediately turned off her phone

"Aren't you gonna tell her that you're with me?" Damon said with furrowed brows.

"I don't think that's needed" replied Nyx

Damon eyes turned cold "Oh really?"

"Y... Yea" Nyx said stuttering seeing Damon's eyes and moved back a little

"Are you scared of me?" Damon said with his cold voice

"Of course not. Anyways I have to go home now it's kinda late. I'll submit the report tomorrow in school." Nyx left hurriedly

"Sigh I just hope you're not scared of me Nyx" said Damon looking at Nyx as she closed the door.
