Vanished

"Where is everyone?" thinking to himself inwardly, a youthful man about 163cm with a sturdy physique, sharply defined features, golden bronze skin and curly silver hair

This young man was named Lotus. looking rather curiously at his surroundings, Lotus was on his way back home from studying in his university library when he began suddenly realize no one can be seen in edgeways.

"Weird I'm certain there were people back in the library so why can't I see anyone now" he acclaims to himself as the breeze of the wind takes centre stage

"Maybe once I'm closer to the city... wait…" with a perplexed expression and an overwhelming sense of anxiety Lotus pondered the peculiarity of his circumstance. 'this doesn't look like campus at all' frantically swaying his head from left to right looking at parts of what used to be classroom buildings but now seem like a mirage, a distant blur of desert hills and misty fog

"Zzzzhhhhhhhhh!" in a trice the space around him began to distort around Lotus, and without him being damaged by the warping of space, reality around him begins to be sucked in by a force unknown and from what used to be a university campus has now completely changed into a desert land

"What the fuck was that!" he exclaims, his usually cool temperament has always been what stood out about him, however right now he was feeling anything except calm.

Then in the blink of an eye, nothing was in sight, except desert land and a giant blazing hot orange sun shining upon the horizon, Lotus began looking around in a contained panic "is this the afterlife? has the good lord taken me… Or maybe this punishment for being an unfilial son, nooo I'm sorry, I'm too young to die Lord, if u send me back I'll be good" after moments of internal repentance and despair and even longer moments of pondering on what to do, Lotus could only begin to walk straight onwards in what he hoped, is a southerly direction.

"Well wherever I am if I don't go somewhere soon I will die of dehydration before anything else, I need to find civilization"

and thus Lotus embarks on his journey to new lands...

After what seems to be ages, Lotus seemed exhausted "I'm so done with this, I've been walking for ages, and my ankles feel like paper

Really it's been at least a couple hours and it's still only desert, I just wish I could get some water right now" soon as Lotus started to visualise a big pond of water in his mind, whilst dragging one foot in front of the other, out of nowhere "zzzhhhhhh" space again started distorting before him until his surrounding once again changed into what seems to be a dark foreboding cave entrance.

"Ok wtf is going on, once was shocking enough but now twice, ugh third time better not be a charm!" he sighed.

"So this time it's an ominous dark dungeon, how exciting" he murmured sarcastically. He tried exiting out again by pushing on what seemed to be to giant doors, however no matter how hard he pushed or budged, the would no move even a centre-meter, in those next moments, a series dark deep sinister growls could be heard further down the cave corridors.

"I really, and I mean really hope that's just the growl of a big red-coloured dog".

Giving up on the idea of leaving through the doors, Lotus began to cautiously and I mean very cautiously tiptoe his way down the dark ominous corridor on his way to where the sound was coming from, every step inducing more nervousness then the one before it, Lotus continously struggled to keep his equanimity, he finally stopped.

His eyes bulged in shock to seeing what he could say was the most terrifying and magnificent spectacle he's ever laid eyes on,

"that's definitely a dragon, an actual fucking, flying, ancient, lore killing dragon" stunned, to say the least at the scenery of a giant dome inhabiting over 30 feet of pure draconic might: big red scales, a rhino-shaped horn accompanied by two smaller horns on each side of it's head, deep red crimson eyes and huge bat shaped wings. His is astonishment couldn't be hidden in his face nor by his shaking limbs from either excitement or terror or what seems to be a mixture of both. "There's a dragon, oh and there's a fountain, although that doesn't look like water, water isn't usually silver is it? well that explains why the dragon is here, it is probably a guard" the dragon did not need to worry though as Lotus turned his body around showing that he had no intention of engaging with whatever was going on there. Quite comically he turned his body round and tiptoed back through the corridor hoping to find the exit

soon he managed to see again what could be the doors "thank the heavens whew!"
