The infamous cake

The four of us stood at the bakery section of the store. I picked out a cake, then handed it to the baker. You’re wondering why we didn’t go to the bakery? Since I doubt my grandparents know yet, I didn’t want to ruin the surprise for them.

I had Presley call them along with others to come over to the house. They all agreed because, well, they like their cake. He lied and said we were having a party for the rents.

Once they wrote what I asked them to write, they packaged it in a box and handed it back to me. I paid for it, and we went home. Now to hide it and bring it out at the right moment.

I made sure I placed it in a spot no one would see it, then waited. Within minutes not only did pops, Payton, and Paxton arrive home, but so did ma. Our grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, Kain, Erin, Kaiden, Greg, and Kaxon, arrived.

/"Why are you all here?/" Pops asked them, a bit confused.
