Chapter 7 Library

Library…

"You can have a look at the books you think are interesting while I will have a look at some and when you're done don't forget to call me Shikibu." Mo E announced before walking deep in the library.

"Man it's been a long time I have come to a library." Mo E whispered to himself while browsing through the names of the books that came in his sight.

"I think reading some history might make this mission easier but it's is hard, to begin with anyway." Mo E said to himself when he heard someone no two individuals walking in his direction and from the energy, they are releasing or he can feel from them he knew their identity very well.

"What do you think about recruiting the guy to my army?" asked a man with a red beard while walking beside a man who is two-thirds of his height.

"You must be crazy thinking about recruiting someone with that much energy for all we know he can be our enemy and might attack us anytime." replied his companion while shaking his head in complete denial of the idea.

"But we won't know unless we try, right?" the big bearded man announced with a burst of laughter as the silence of the library vanished completely as the two of them earned the attention or annoyance from everyone.

Getting the eye from all around Alexander and Waver felt uncomfortable and the indication of silence from the old librarian was the end string for them to make them leave the library.

Although Alexander wanted to fight the old librarian however a second look at the old man made him not fight that old man thinking of his reputation which might get destroyed because of him harming the weak old man.

"Let's leave this place Rider." asked Waver with discomfort.

"I don't like this place either." Alexander announced in anger as he followed behind Waver.

"Interesting." Mo E thought looking at the interaction between Waver and Alexander/Iskandar/King of Conquerors AkA Rider.

After the two weird servants and master left the library Mo E decided to head to where Shikibu is reading her books.

Arriving at the other side of the bookshelf of Murasaki Shikibu Mo E heard her murmuring in confusion and frustration "No matter which book I put my hand, I cannot find a book which has been complete.

All the books in this library are incomplete."

Hearing her frustrated tone Mo E couldn't help but chuckle before saying "That is the wonder of amazing work."

"Hearing you say that makes me believe you know why these books are all incomplete. " Shikibu discovered her master's presence by her side a long time ago. It's just she was in deep thought while reading this book which made her not glance at him; however, hearing his words made her curious as she finally puts the book back to its place before asking with curiosity.

"Have you heard the term called the wonder of imperfection?" Mo E asks with a smile as he looks at Shikibu's confused face thinking 'She looks cute when she is confused.'

"Wonder of imperfection?" hearing something new made Shikibu murmur Mo E's words in surprise as if she knows the meaning and missing something at the same time.

"From your confused look, I take it you have yet to hear this then let me explain this to you." Mo E announced with a smile "Have you ever thought why we cannot see the other side of the moon?"

"Isn't it because the light of the Sun cannot reach that side of the moon?" Shikibu asked with a serious face looking at her master wondering why would he ask something that she has read not long ago in one of the books which have a complete explanation for the Solar system's patterns of operating.

"Yes, you are right." Mo E said with a smile before asking "But didn't you ever think what might be on the side that we can not be from Earth?"

"Yes I am curious about that exact thing and I heard many tales of the far side of the Moon." Shikibu replied with a longing face as if wants to visit the moon and confirm that curiosity of hers.

"Then tell me Shikibu if you and everyone were to know the contains of that side of the moon will anyone be curious about it?" Mo E asks with a serious face as he looks at Shikibu.

"No then why would we be curious and if we know we will not make lots of stories and... " while speaking her opinion a light of realization glows in the eyes of Shikibu as she turns towards Mo E in the eye as enlightenment showed in it.

Looking at Shikibu's eyes a smile formed on the face of Mo E as she says with a chuckle " Yes you are right the incomplete part is what makes the books more complete than it will be when it's complete."

"You are right if I were to know the ending then I wouldn't be curious about what might happen next." Shikibu said with a nod as the now understands Mo E's explanation perfectly and she continues "So not knowing the end will make the readers have the curiosity of the unknown and they will exploit the ending by themselves."

While Murasaki Shikibu and Mo E are having an exchange about "Literature" somewhere in the city, a fierce battle that may decide life and death or take someone one step closer to the Holy Grail.

A blonde girl with an invisible sword is battling a man who has a long red spear which he is swinging at the girl at a crazy speed and from his expression, it's clear he wants to make sure the girl ends under his spear.

However, the girl who is on the other getting constant hits aiming at her also not someone who will get crushed so easily, and with ease, she will escape every attack from the man and finally finding an opportunity she decided to take action.
