4 Sweet Taste

Few days already passed since Ella come to the orphanage. Because the food from the orphanage can't fill her stomach, she decided to go to the marketplace. A lot of stall stacked side by side and there's long street infront of it. Crowd of people walking here and there seems busy buying what they need. She can see a lot of children like her on the alleyway, watching the people eating or buying food. All the children have the same thought 'i hope i can eat delicious food like them or atleast eat food until my stomach full.'

Ella have the same thought too and that's why she come here. She not planning to buy food since she don't have any money. She planning to steal food from the stall. The other kid have thought like that too but once they get caught and get beaten and now they scared to do that again.

Ella didn't bring her sword. Its too heavy for her to carry it around so she just hide it on the place where only she know.

She walking behind an adult to cover her body so the stall owner didn't see her. Her target is fruit stall. The owner is a man around 25y.o with 178cm height, brown hair with brown-black beard and brown eye. Because Ella's clothe is kinda eyecatching because its dirty and not in good shape, she need to shrink her body as small as she can feel, but its not like her body actually shrink, she just imagine she become so tiny so the owner didn't notice her. She carefully walking, switching from one adult to another to take cover and walking as close as she can to the stall. And when she close enough and there's no one that she can use as cover she began to run. There is a distance of about 1meter between her and the stall.

The owner still looking at the people trying to attract them to buy his goods so he late to notice Ella's presence when she steal his fruit and immediately ran away.

"OI!!!" After he saw Ella running and see a bunch of fruit on her hand, he realized what just happen. "F*CK!!!"

He want to chase her but he can't leave the stall. He can ask another stall owner to look after his stall but he didn't trust anyone. If there's customer buying his fruits when he chasing Ella, the person who watching his stall can just take the money for themself. Or maybe take his fruits and eat them. They can share the money or the fruit to keep the other stall owner mouth shut. So he choose to stay.

"I WILL REMEMBER YOUR FACE!!"

Ella running as far as she can so she can eat the fruit without worry.

She arrive on the alleyway far from where she come. She looking around and she didn't see anyone for now. After rechecking for a few times and be sure that no one around, she start eating. She grab around 5 fruits but she don't know what kind of fruit it is. In fact, she don't know most of the fruit on the stall. But since its on sale, she know that she can eat it. The fruit is as big as an adult fist and have red color. When she bite it, the sweet flavor spread on her mouth. The more she chew the fruit, the more sweet it become.

She smiling while chewing the fruits and she eat them until there's no left.

"Fiuhhh.." satisfied with the fruit, she sit for a bit to rest her body. She not that tired but still she relax her body so the food can slide inside her stomach smoothly.

After she rest for few minutes, she ready to go back to the orphanage. For a few days, she already doing some practice using her sword. The captain already promise that she can have that sword so when the gate-keeper try to take it away, she not let the sword go and say that the captain already promise her to keep it. The Sisters try to take the sword because its too dangerous for her, she say, but Ella with her presistent refuse to let it go. So the Sisters give up with promise that Ella not allowed to use it against people until she adult.

The sword is still heavy for her but she swing it anyway. Her limit is swing it for 5 times before she tired and can't even lift the sword. But because of that, she can gain some muscle on her body.

She leave the alleyway planning to go back but when she on the road, she look to the left and right, and.....

"Where am i?"

She lost.
