A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT

"Wake up sleepy head!" dad said banging a pot over my head, i woke up instantly "good morning daddy" i said grouchily "morning sweetheart" dad said "now go get dressed! remember school's today" dad added 

"ok" i responded sliding out of bed "i 'll be downstairs" dad said leaving "ugh" i thought "school, what's there to be excited school" i said to my self "the only thing about school is that it is a complete waste of time" i said. Once i uttered those words i took them back, if there was no school i don't know how i would have met Ella my best friend. I quickly took my shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed and ran downstairs "good morning mom" i said grabbing some cereal "good morning Cynthia, excited for school?" mom said obviously teasing me "if i said i wasn't would that change the fact i still have to go?" i said, "no" my parents said at the same time "of course" i said shaking my head "bye" i said heading towards the door "have a nice day at school" mom said before i closed the door. Then i started walking to school, after 5 minutes i reached a crossing so i waited for the light to turn red, as i waited i saw a car speeding from a distance and saw a child running on the street she looked about 7 years old. "No" i thought before looking back at the car that was going even faster and was much closer than before, i didn't know what i was thinking i just ran towards the child and pushed her out of the way, everything was going in slow motion. I was satisfied to see the child safe but couldn't say the same about my self, the car collided with my body sending me flying, as i landed on the ground i heard someone screaming and someone saying "call an ambulance" then i saw blood all around me and then it all went dark.
