Chapter 5 - Petrified

I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. I was frightened. I started sweating.

"Dear why are you in the floor?" my mom said, distressed, as she was at the door.

"Oh ma, its...its nothing, I was quite exhausted so here I am" I told while shrugging my shoulder at the last. No way I wanted my parents to be worried. First they are very concerned about my future and if I told them about this they wouldn't let me to go school AT ALL.

"You can rest you know, why lie in the floor?" she stated and left my room. I crawled over to the bed, with my eyes towards the ceiling as I watched the fan circling. A sound was made on my phone which indicated that someone sent me a message.

Elodie:

W.T.H just happened Addilyn?!

Me:

Girl I'm so done.

Elodie:

Now what happened?

Me:

That, that guy with the mask, he was Flynn.

Elodie:

NO WAY! How could it be? Wait, did he, umm.... did he kill Rayna?

Me:

No, no he just dosed her...I hope she's OK. Poor her...

Elodie:

Do you think we should tell the police?

Me:

I srsly dunno...I mean the whole WORLD will know abt this and he's anyways gonna get out again....

Elodie:

Yeah that's true... Just be safe bestie <3

Me:

You too:)

Sigh. I knew life wasn't gonna be the same ever since Flynn entered in my life. I went to rinse my face and to grab some late snacks. I took a bowl of berries and sat on the sofa watching movies with my whole family, feeling secure.

After finishing a movie we decided to call it a night. I hugged my mom and dad and too my brother too, which he kind off felt weird since I rarely hugged him and went to my room. After finishing my night routine, I jumped over my bed and let tried my best to sleep, in which surprisingly I could despite the thoughts of Flynn roaming in my head.
