A grove near my house was my training ground.

Wooden targets were hung on the cedar trees in the cluster surrounding me. Each was about the size of a human head, with two black circles drawn on it. I, Shou Uchiha stood alone in the deserted wood, kunai tucked between my fingers. Four in each hand, the eight kunai were my weapons of choice.

"Haah…",

I closed my eyes and slowly pushed the air out of my lungs from the bottom of my stomach. As I crouched down, I kicked at the ground as hard as I could. My body jumped into the air and flipped upside down. I held my arms to my chest, and then shot them out to both sides, and eight flashes of light scattered in eight directions.

Thk! Thk! Thk!

The sound echoed all around me as I landed on the Earth. The sharp blades had pierced the centers of the targets on the cedar trees.

As I looked in front of me, I could see the blue, somewhat transparent screen which was only visible to me.

"Yes", I whispered in a barely audible voice, mesmerized by the system in front of me. It wasn't looking any mesmerizing, heck it even didn't look attractive. However, I was simply memerized by having the access of the system. As I had read in the fanfics and original novels, the system could turn even a loser to a hero. My body shudders with joy as I think the ways I would use it to improve myself.

I closed my eyes.

As the technique activated, I could sense my surroundings. It felt like my surrounding has become my body parts themselves.

I could 𝘴𝘦𝘦 the surface of the constantly moving tree leaves, the fluttering grass, the kunai embedded in the targets, the shurikens lying on the ground, a pair of pigeons scratching their beaks and the flowing air itself.

I turned and went towards a big tree with a wide trunk. I got into a stance- my bended knees joining a vertical line, my right arm besides my waist and fingers bended towards the palms. I will use 15 CP in this attack.

I was near the trunk of the tree.

"Chakra Impact Technique: Activate",

I said

Chakra flowed from my body to my right palm and formed into a gaseous ball, made of slowly revolving, captivating blue flames-like chakra.

I attacked the wide trunk of the tree with the ball, which seemed to touch the surface of the tree and released the gathered chakra.

The blue light glowed more brightly as the air between my hand and the trunk shook, and the chakra destroyed a large chunk of the tree.

There was a big hole in the trunk. I could see through it the other tree.

What an utter destroyer I am, I thought, amused.

On other thought, I think that every ninja is a destroyer of nature.

I remembered the ground on which my father and Fugaku wreaked destruction.

The fog cleared up and I placed my back of the hands in front of my eyes to protect them from the harmful rays of the Sun.

Ironic. I was thinking of blinding my enemies, and here the Sun blinded me instead.

As I practiced here daily, I knew that when the fog cleared up and the sunrays cover my whole body, it was time for me to leave for the Academy if I didn't want to be late.

I hopped to a high, wide branch of a tree where bag was resting. I picked it up and hopped between trees.
