First Phase(3):

Just above David and Aerio on the first floor, stood Rebecca and Sally staring at the green haired man that just destroyed the floor. He walks over to them with a grin on his face.

" 15 minutes have passed so far, leaving us with only 45 minutes. Do you think you ladies can survive against me for 45 minutes? "

Says Liam in a cocky voice. His footsteps echo through the now quiet first floor. Rebecca grins at him as sweat covers her forehead.

" A better question is if you can survive against us " 

Says Rebecca snapping her fingers as the man enters the range of her control. The air around the man suddenly thins catching him off guard. He starts to look around before he scoffs at her and carries on walking.

" So your ability is to manipulate the air? How pointless. I can beat you before I run out of oxygen. You'll be the one gasping for air at the end of this."

Says Liam lunging towards Rebecca and Sally. Sally grits her teeth as she steps in front of her sister raising her guard patiently waiting for Liam to engage with her.

Liam takes one more step before throwing a punch.

Sally's eyes widen at the fierce punch coming towards her. She ducks. Liam's fist grazes the top of Sally's head, missing its target. In a rash move, Sally suddenly wraps her arms around Liam's torso and sprints forward, causing his feet to skid on the ground.

" What could possibly be going through your pea-sized brain, idiot! "

Liam yells out annoyed as he mercilessly uppercuts Sally, causing her to release his torso. She staggers back, clutching her throbbing jaw, only to be struck again by a right hook to her left eye.

Sally's body drops to the floor barely conscious. She squirms on the ground in pain holding her left eye. Liam walks over to Sally before stomping his right foot on her chest. He looks forward before noticing that Rebecca has disappeared.

" Where the hell is your pathetic friend? She gave up on you to save herself, huh? "

Says Liam twisting his foot on Sally's chest making her cry out in agony. A grin appears on his face until the sound of something hurling towards him enters his ears causing him to look right.

He sees a massive rock coming hurling towards him. He stares at the rock before extending his right palm to the rock and murmuring.

" Shatter. "

The rock instantly breaks into thousands of little pebbles before turning into dust. He looks through the dust and sees a shocked Rebecca staring at him with widened eyes.

" Do you finally realize how futile your helpless struggle is? "

Says Liam stomping onto Sally's chest making her cough out blood. Rebecca's eyes grow angry as she starts charging towards him wildly.

Liam lifts his foot off Sally and starts cockily walking towards the charging Rebecca.

" Let me show you the difference between someone from the first school compared to someone from the fourth. "...

On the platform right under Liam and Rebecca, sparks flew out wildly as David and Aerio clashed weapons dashing around the wooden platform throwing a barrage of slashes towards each other.

Their blades clash sliding off each other. Aerio grins at David wildly as his long dirty black hair flows in the air as he leaps into the air flipping over David slashing his sword.

David raises his blade above his head, Aerio's Katana slams into it making a loud screeching noise. The katana slides off the knife before Aerio lands on his feet lunging toward David.

David dashes back gaining space away from Aerio as he recklessly charges forward holding on to his katana with both hands.

" Come on! Show more intensity you were so much faster against Jerio. Am I boring you? Don't worry I'll speed up the pace!"

Screams out Aerio throwing a volley of slashes at the retreating David. Sweat rolls off David's nose as he narrowly ducks and weaves. He pivots to his left as Aerio's blade cuts a wooden crate in half.

David takes a deep breath while swinging his knife at Aerio's neck until his eyes suddenly widen. He stops his knife before bouncing back away from Aerio.

David stares at his forearm while he twists his hand back and forth. David in that moment. David felt a force slowing his arm. David locks eyes with Aerio. His mind is racing as he tries to figure out his ability. He reflects on Aerio's previous movements but he can't decipher what his ability is.

David smacks his lips annoyed. He came to a conclusion inside his mind. Aerio hadn't used his ability their entire fight.

Aerio slowly started walking towards David twisting his katana in his hand. Aerio's fighting style was unorthodox. His bloodlust masked his movements. Aerio switches from traditional movements to wild sloppy slashes making David unable to predict his movements.

" Are you done observing? "

Said Aerio as he charged at David, swinging his blade over his head. David blocks the attack. They glare at each other as the two men press down on each others' blades testing their strength. Before suddenly David lets go of his knife. He turns his body as the tip of Aerio's katana slices across his right bicep.

David shuffles his feet, spinning his leg around his body. The heel of his foot slams into the Katana. The katana slides through Aerio's grip as he lets go of the hilt. Aerio watches in shock as his katana flies off the platform plummeting towards the floor hundreds of feet below.

David reaches down and grabs onto his knife before dashing away from Aerio. As he stares at the platform's edge. He starts twitching his right hand before he looks over at David angrily.

" Hey, do you know how much a katana costs? You know what? Forget it. I'll just make up the money by selling your lifeless body on the black market!" 

Says Aerio.

In a split second, Aerio lunges toward David throwing a punch. David lowers his body ducking under the punch and slices Aerio's chest. The blade pierces deep into Aerio's stomach. But to David's surprise. Aerio just grins and lunges at him grabbing onto his wrists and before he wraps his legs around David's body.

Aerio drags David onto the wooden floor. David lays onto him. David jerks his right arm to his chest freeing his arm from Aerio's grasp. He points his knife toward Aerio's jugular. Aerio's face turns into one of pure panic until a cruel grin appears on his face.

David stares at his grin confused until a sharp jolt of pain slashes across his back. David looks to his left and sees a spinning katana flying through the air. Before David could process the katana he's punched in the mouth sending him flying off Aerio.

David lies on his back before gingerly standing up holding his knife in his right hand. His eyes track the katana circling around the platform. Before the katana flies straight and lands in Aerio's hand.

Aerio stares at David with a pleased look on his face. He rotates his left shoulder in a circle motion while stretching.

" Do you get my ability yet? If not, let me show you some more examples. "

Says Aerio as he stops moving his shoulder and raises his left hand up into the air. Five crates behind him start rapidly shaking until they float up into the air, hovering.

David's eyes widen as a single thought runs through his mind. " Telekinesis "...
