Yumie Explains What Happened Part 1

"No, I'm all right Mom. It was Yumie who suffered the most because of this incident because I wasn't actually there when she saved that woman, I was looking out outside when it happened, so she took all of that hit from that woman." Kurokami said and as she remembered how that woman looked at her sister, she was disgusted. If she had been given the choice, she would have killed that woman herself as a way of revenge, but she couldn't because of some reason.

Seeing that she was getting worked up, Yuki gently picked up Katsumi using her Ice Manipulation, and when she was finally beside her. She gently placed her head on her shoulder before hugging her as a way of comfort after she saw her getting made, even though she herself couldn't even control her own anger at that moment. She noticed something with her new passive, the one that was given to her by Merlin, there was like an off-and-on switch on it.

She was able to control it freely which is why right now she was feeling extreme anger, but that was just a hypothesis, there was also a huge chance that the passive that was given to her was just there to control her so that the thing that happened in the past would no longer happen. Her mother already explained to her what happened when she was consumed by her own anger and bloodlust, but for her, it didn't even feel like that, she still felt control all over her body.

Ayame had explained to her that she would be like a mindless beast, but it felt nothing like that as she felt that she still had full control, the only difference was that she felt an uncontrollable power raging inside of her body that was ready to go out. There was also another part of it that when she was supposed to get out of it, she wouldn't remember a thing that happened, but it clearly didn't happen as she remembers every second of it.

"Calm down… you don't need to get so worked up. I know it's a little hypocritical of me to say this when I'm just the same as you, but let your Mother do the dirty work. I will get revenge for you and your sister. So… let me, and don't get your hands dirty with this kind of work." Yuki gently said as she kissed Katsumi's head and because of the shift of the movement, it caused Yumie to wake up.

When she did, the two were looking at her nervously, while the other two women were just outside the room because they couldn't find a good time to enter. They felt that they should just let the two have their own moment for now as Yuki knew the three more than anyone in this world as she was practically the one who raised them from the very start.

"You're awake… are you feeling any better now?" Yuki asked as soon as she saw her waking up, but Yumie just stayed silent before putting a little distance between herself and Yuki which made Yuki upset, but she couldn't do anything about it as she couldn't even understand what she was feeling right now.

"Yumie… I already know what happened and I'm not mad or anything, I know that this is just a pure attack of malice towards you, and I would never even think that you would do something like this. You are a smart girl, too smart even for your young age, you already know what is right and what is wrong, so there is just no possible way for you to do this. So if you are thinking that I'm either mad or disappointed, maybe even both. Don't worry about that, I can assure you that I am not, I'm mad yes, but not towards you, but towards that woman who harassed you." Yuki calmly said as she hid the pain in her voice when she saw Yumie separating herself.

"I… thank you Mom… I thought that you really hated me because of that incident. But I never wanted to do that, that woman… she just forced herself on me. But she never really went physical on me, she was just stalking me, but…" As Yumie was telling her story of how things happened, she was visibly shaking, Yuki just merely hugged her again to calm her down.

"It's okay, we are here for you little Yumie. We won't ever let that woman get near you ever, or every other person that has associated with her, we won't let them get near you." Fumiko gently sat on the bed and she then placed her hand on her back as a way of support.

"I may not be also to help you like that, but I can ask my grandma who is coincidentally the previous Empress of the Kingdom to issue an arrest on them if you want me to, you can just say the word and I'll definitely get it done," Kurokami said as she just stand on the other side and instead she gently carried Katsumi before putting her in her lap which made the girl shocked and a little embarrassed as she felt that she was already too big for that, but Kurokami just smiled at her.

Yumie felt even more emotional at this because now she knows that none of them hate her because of what happened and just as she was about to thank all of them for supporting her, she remembered another thing. But this time instead of running away from her problem, she decided to face them head-on even though she was afraid.

She then let go of Yuki before looking at her with a nervous but resolute look on her face and this made Yuki think, she was confused about why she had that look on her face. They were already starting to reconcile again with their little problem, but now it seemed that there was something in Yumie's mind that she wanted to get out of. But she just couldn't figure out what it was, so she just waited for her to speak up again.

"Mom… I have to say one more thing and this time you can completely hate me if you want. I'm sorry, but I didn't protect Yaoyao well, hence she got away from us. Now I'm hearing rumors that she is dead because they say that some old cultivator has shot it down, I'm really sorry. Even though you have trusted me to protect Yaoyao… I couldn't." Yumie apologized and when Katsumi heard what just her big sister had said, she wasted no time and also spoke up.

"Mom if you are going to be mad, take it out on me too! We are equally at fault for this because we were careless and now Yaoyao is gone, even though she is your beloved pet, we let her get killed…" Katsumi also apologized as she even lowered her head to not look at her Mother directly because she was ashamed.

But she was even more ashamed than Yumie because she actually forgot this matter, the death of her Mother's pet was something she should never forget, but somehow she did, and she has no excuse for it.

"That… So that is the other thing that was running in your head. Yaoyao… how about you fix this misunderstanding?"
