Melvis Family

Fumiko just decided to stay quiet since she knew that she couldn't say anything more than what Yuki just said to her because she couldn't really refute her words no matter how hard she tried, but the main reason she didn't want to argue with her. Their talk would last for hours to just see who was right about their perspectives, she knows this, and that is why she doesn't want it to happen again as she still remembers how a debate that should only last for an hour suddenly tripled. All of it is because of Yuki.

"I see… well now that you say it like that, I guess that you are correct. Though I still believe that there are some good points in becoming a Hero." Fumiko only managed to say these words after thinking about it and when she didn't hear anything from Yuki, she was secretly glad about it.

"Let's not worry about that anymore, can you help me in taking care of her? I'm going out to buy some medicine for Yaoyao, but if she wakes up and begins to find me, call me. Can you do that for me?" Yuki asked with a light smile on her face as he already knew that Fumiko would accept her request.

But all of that was a lie, she was not going to buy any medicine as Yaoyao was already in a stable condition and only needed some sleep to recover from her fatigue. There was only one reason why she wanted to go out and that was to find who put her in such a state if she found that person, only she would decide if they would still live or not.

She doesn't care if that person is backed by a King, Emperor, or even a God. She does not care about it, even if it takes her months, or years to complete her revenge, she'll do it. She's a woman who holds grudges and takes revenge on everyone who crosses her line. This time is no different from what she always does. So when Fumiko accepted her request she apologized and kissed her on the lips, and when she was about to go out, she was stopped by Fumiko which she was shocked since that wasn't a normal thing for her to do.

"Wait… I just realized this, but your body has changed? How?" Fumiko asked as the thing that she had forgotten to ask finally came back to her mind when she saw Yuki's back slowly disappearing in front of her.

When Yuki heard her question, she was shocked because she thought that Fumiko had already realized this ever since she woke up, but she was slower than she had expected. It took her more than 3 hours to realize that her body had major changes in them. The killing intent that even her Skills couldn't hold back dissipated when she realized again how cute she was, but even though it was more of a disadvantage, she was alright with it since it was one of her charms that she loved the most.

Yuki chuckled lightly as she then walked beside Fumiko before lifting her in her arms and kissing her on the cheeks.

"You only realized it now?"

"Well, I'm sorry for being slow, alright! I was just so happy that I forgot the things that are happening around me!" When Fumiko hears Yuki clearly making fun of her, she looks away from her and puffs up her cheeks in response.

"Oh I know about that, I just didn't think that it was this bad. But don't feel bad about it, since you really only this slow when you are around the people that you love the most, which is me~" Yuki said confidently as she didn't get mad at Fumiko for declining her kiss since she already expected it.

Fumiko finds herself again in the same position, she can't seem to refute it because she really only gets like this when she is around Yuki. Now she understands why people would like to make fun of her because she was strict when it came to her job, but when she was in front of the person that she loves, she made a complete 180.

"Well, I'm off now, and I'm sorry again since I have to leave again. But don't worry, I'm just going to be gone for a few minutes, not even half an hour. I'll be back, I promise." Yuki said as she finally placed Fumiko back down before having a final kiss, when she got it, she only left their house with a smile on her face.

Her plan was simple, she knew that it would be impossible for her to locate the people who hurt Yaoyao if she just went and tried to look around the area where she found her. It was time-consuming and ultimately a bad idea, so she went to the Guild first to see if there were any missions that involved a Phoenix.

Of course, she was already wearing her Fox Mask back since she didn't want to catch anyone's eye, in this world it was just normal for a person to hide their identity, so her wearing a mask wouldn't catch anyone's eyes, but even if they did try to pry into her, they are going to suffer from her wrath.

But as she entered, she was met with a loud atmosphere around her, and when she heard what all of them were talking about, the good mood that she just had completely disappeared.

"Hey, have you heard? There were rumors that there was a baby Phoenix flying around our Town?"

"Of course! Who doesn't know that yet? That news even gathered the ears of the Royal Family! All of the high-ranking families swarmed together to try and be the first to catch that baby Phoenix to make it their own, I mean… who wouldn't want to? That is a legendary Beast that you can only hear in stories after all."

"Is it true that the Melvis Family has already captured that Phoenix? I was hearing some news that they have encountered it already."

"I don't think so, I was fortunate to be there and witness the scene! They did encounter it, but they miscalculated some things, baby Phoenix was stronger than they had anticipated which led to the death of a few of their guards, but even so. They manage to make it drop down, but it still escapes, though I'm fairly sure that they had time to plant a Tracking Talisman onto its body. So catching it would be easy now since they know the location of it."

Yuki has heard enough and she didn't even hesitate to use her few Teleport Talisman to go back to their horse, but when she did, it seemed that it was already too late. Hundreds of miles away from her house, she can feel dozens of people coming closer to her.
