Conquering the Mystic Realm Part 15

Some time passed and Elisa woke up in some unknown environment, seeing this she immediately sensed something was wrong. She looked around the unknown room that she was in and it was clear just from the looks of it that she was currently inside a Duke's Villa because there was no possible way that such a house belonged to someone who was just rich, but what she doesn't know is what where does this Villa belong to.

But just as she was about to hop off the bed to investigate further, she stopped when she felt an unknown presence on the door using her Mana Senses, she stopped immediately stopped as she laid back down, and pretended to be asleep. But as the door opened, a lot of people entered, and among those people was Alvitr which made Elisa think.

'Am I inside the Strasser Villa?' She questioned herself as she just stayed put there and pretended to be asleep, it was a good thing that she still had a fever so that just made her disguise look even better as no one would suspect that she would still be awake. Elisa had already guessed that a day should have passed since the Monsters had raided their village considering the position of the sun outside when she looked out the window.

"Is… Doctor, is she going to be fine?" Alvitr asked as she sat beside the bed and gently caressed Elisa's cheeks with clear worry in her eyes, it had already been a day, and for some reason, her daughter hadn't still woken up. This hadn't happened before even with all of the past fevers that she got, so it made her think that maybe her condition had somehow worsened.

"I can assure you Lady Alvitr that the little Princess would be alright. She's doing much better than before actually, her fever has gone down, and most importantly her built-up muscle fatigue has died down, it's all back to normal. We just need to wait for her to wake up because the little Princess is very tired." The Doctor smiled as he assured Alvitr that everything would be alright and that she didn't need to worry about the condition of Elisa.

"Why did this happen? Do you have any idea?" The same woman who saved Alvitr and Elisa asked the Doctor as she looked at her with stern and cold eyes, when the Doctor saw it, he couldn't help but shiver as he looked at the Documents that Alvitr had given her yesterday about Elisa's medical history.

"Duchess… I'm going to be honest, but I'm not really sure because from what I'm reading it seems that the little Princess is really healthy and that she rarely gets sick, but whenever she does which is the same with this case. She gets really sick, this is her third attack already right, Lady Alvitr?" The Doctor asked as he looked at Alvitr with pleading eyes as if he was saying that she would help him escape the Duchess.

"Yeah… Mom, honestly I also don't know why she is like this. I'm worried for her my-," Just as Alvitr was about to continue, she suddenly felt Elisa move and when she looked down at her, she saw her slowly waking up which made all of her worries go away in an instant.

"My baby… I'm glad that you finally woke up." As soon as Elisa got up and sat on the bed, she was pulled by Alvitr into a warm embrace to which she didn't protest and simply returned the hug to her. But as she hid her face on her chest, she was busy scanning everyone as with her eyes closed, she wasn't able to do it properly without getting caught, but now that she is awake, she can do it easier.

"Mommy… where are we?" Elisa asked as she peeked out and saw a lot of unfamiliar faces, but when her gaze landed on Wagner, she snickered inside when she saw how he was looking at her.

"We… we are in our house… Since you already know it, I'm not going to hide it anymore, we are in the Strasser Estate." Alvitr said as she no longer hid anything she gently stood up and let everyone take it from her so that they could introduce themselves. But even though Alvitr had already opened the opportunity, none of them took it, instead they just looked at the Duchess apprehensively as if they were waiting for her to make the first move.

'Interesting… On the outside, this useless old man is the Duke, but in reality, it is this woman. So he is just a puppet, huh? I wonder though if she was the one who ordered my Mom to be banished… But that doesn't really matter, no matter who it is… They're still going to die by my hands.' Elisa said to herself, her gaze lingered for a little while on Wagner before she looked at everyone.

When she finished, she already knew who are all of them as they were familiar to her, it was almost the entire Strasser Family was inside this room, and even the siblings of her Mother were inside. The only ones that she couldn't see were her cousins, but that is to be expected because they were not going to do that as they know that it can cause a lot of trouble.

"Hello, little one. My name is Anneliese Strasser, the Duchess of the Strasser Family. I'm your grandma if you didn't know it already." Anneliese said with a gentle voice that made everyone look at her twice to see if they were hearing things as none of them expected her to speak so softly in front of this little girl.

Alvitr's siblings couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy because none of their children could even have the chance to talk to their grandma in any normal circumstances, and if they did, Anneliese would be extremely cold at them, It was as if she was not even treating them like little kids even though they are almost at the exact same age with just a few being older by a few years.

"Grandma? Duchess of the Strasser Family? Is she also one of the people who abandoned you, Mommy?" As soon as that question left her mouth, a dreaded silence emitted inside of the room. None of them couldn't believe that such words would leave the little girl in front of them, they then looked at the Duchess and waited for her to answer, but before she could even say anything, Alvitr's older brother had already got in front of Elisa and began yelling at her.

"Who do you think you are little girl? Do you really understand what you're saying right now?" The man asked and he even raised his hand to grab Elisa's collar, but he was stopped when his arm was caught by Anneliese who then threw him on the ground. Meanwhile, Elisa shrank back to Alvitr as she was 'terrified' because of what just happened now. Her whole body was shaking.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing, Elijah?" Anneliese asked coldly as she looked down at her son before lifting him on the collar and throwing him against the wall making him scrunch in pain.
