Adair checked the stone to see what time it was, and she noticed that there were only five minutes left before class started. This made her wonder why her previous teacher was so early to class compared to this teacher, and she quickly realized that it probably was because the teacher was so new he came in early to make sure everything was ready.

Adair then put the rock away in a pocket and prepared herself for the history class. She really hoped that this class would not be as dull as history classes back in the Galactic Empire because if it was, then this would quickly become one of her least favorite classes.

The teacher introduced himself as Mr. Leon Wassel, and for the first time, it appeared that this teacher was of a similar race to herself because he was around six feet tall, had a long silver beard, and had a set of silver wings behind his back.

He then asked Adair how much she knew about the history of Proxima Galaxy. And to this, Adair responded with "Nothing." The teacher then seemed to chant something and moved his hands around as if casting a spell, and a few seconds later, the classroom-like setting had changed into a movie theater section where there was a projection screen at the front of the classroom instead of the previous background.

Adair was about to ask what happened but before she could the screen turned on and started to play a show. For the first few minutes, lines of text ran down the screen in a language that Adair recognized from the flashcards but could not currently read, so she just tuned it out until a picture of Godlike beings appeared through huge portals onto many different planets.

These beings then took over the planets that they had been teleported onto, and over the next few hours, she learned of all the different struggles, rise, and fall of various empires, how different beings became influential in the history of this galaxy and the efforts that these leaders had to go through along with many other facts and that these beings had to go through until it eventually stopped where Adair assumed was close to present day.

While she was sure that she missed quite a few critical points due to not understanding what the narrators were saying, she got the gist of everything that happened in the documentary.

The main thing that Adair learned from this hour-long video was that the different species that exist in this galaxy controlled the whole Galaxy compared to back in the Galactic Empire, where the only species that they knew of were only in control of a few different clusters of solar systems.

She also learned that there were millions of different sentient races in this galaxy ranging from Galactic Empyrion looking folks to people who looked like devils to beings that looked like angels and everything in between.

She also noticed that Magic heavily influenced everything throughout the documentary, which she found interesting since scientific advancement had been such a major part of the Galactic Empire.

This did not mean that there was no use of technology in the film, but she noticed that the majority of all technological advancements shown in the film were mostly magical related instead of scientific.

The last thing that she found interesting was that there were no robots of any sort shown in the show. This was strange to her. This galaxy seemed to be significantly more advanced than her previous galaxy, but her galaxy had artificial intelligence and robots to help them with a whole host of different things, but that did not appear to be the case at all, which led her to two options.

The first one was that the people in this galaxy just ignored scientific advancement and preferred magical advancement instead, but she quickly put this idea to rest because even if everyone here preferred magical advancement, there had to be beneficial reasons for technology to advance.

She looked back at the introduction of the electric car in the galactic empire. Even though the electric car was introduced decades before she was born, it was still taught to her in school because it showed that even though the oil titans of earth tried to shut down the production of those cars and that they were successful for many years. Eventually, the benefits of the product outshone the negatives, and they were not able to keep it suppressed any longer, and the electric car companies soon became the titans of the industry.

The other option is that many technological advancements happened, but for some reason or another, they were not shown in the film. To Adair, this was likely the case, but for some reason or another, the leaders of this society wanted to promote magical advancement more than technological advancement.

This made her question the rest of the claims that happened in the show. And after a bit of thought, she concluded that all of the events that happened in the show probably did happen, just that some events were probably left out, and the events that were left in were probably changed to make them look better in the film.

The last main point that Adair took from this film was the current leaders of the galaxy. And what Adair could tell was that there were different tiers of rulers. There were the big five who controlled the majority of the center of the galaxy, and then there were what appeared to be second class states who controlled the area between the middle of the galaxy and the outermost regions of the galaxy, and then there were third-class states who controlled the most area but were also at the outermost edge of the galaxy. On the few maps shown in the film, there was a layer beyond the reach of the third class status, but in the maps, all it was called was the Galactic Edge, and barely any of it was explored based on the maps shown in the movie.

While Adair was running through these thoughts, the credits were running. Eventually, Adair was brought out of her own thoughts by the room around her turning back into the language classroom.

Mr. Leon Wassel then said to Adair, "since you are so far behind, we will have this class every day until you are caught up," and then proceeded to make a portal in the wall and teleported out of the room.

Adair then brought out her stone and looked and saw that history class was added to every day of her calendar, at least for as far as Adair could see on her calendar. This made her wonder why all of the other classes did not do the same thing as this teacher, and the only thing that could make some sense to her was that the other teachers had other commitments that they had to attend to, and this teacher didn't.

Whatever the reason, though, she was happy that her schedule was starting to fill up since she hoped that if she completed the work with these teachers, then she could get help with the other classes. While this was doubtful, who knew maybe it would work.

She saw that next on her schedule was that there was a two-hour span for a meal before there were another three classes she had to attend before she could go to sleep. So she headed back over to the dining area where Gragvoks was already there setting out the utensils for Adair.

She first thought that maybe this should have been what happened in the first place, but she denied that idea pretty quickly because of how many other interfaces she found throughout the house.

She then asked what was for dinner, and she found out that it was the same thing that she had for lunch, which was fine with her since she greatly enjoyed it the first time. This time though, compared to before, Gragvoks brought out two pots of the meal instead of the single pot like before.

Adair questioned Gragvoks on why there were two instead of one this time, and he responded with that since she had finished the first pot so easily before, he worried that she was still hungry, and he couldn't let that happen on his watch, so he made a second pot for her.

To this, Adair said that the previous meal was exactly enough for her, but the man just brushed what she said off and said, even if that is the case, just eat to your heart's content and headed back through the crystal door to the kitchen. Same as before, Adair easily finished one pot, but even though she felt full, the food was so good that she continued to eat until half of the second pot was gone as well.

And she only stopped since she felt like she would get sick if she ate anymore. She then brought out her rock and noticed that she still had an hour and a half until her next class, so she decided to go back to the language classroom and study the flashcards until it was time for her next class.
