When he got to the table, he pushed the papers to one end and brought out an empty piece of paper from his drawer. Then he sat, opened his ink container, and brought out his quill.

'Ask him to return to Gerald. Tell him Ansley has lost his mind.' She spoke.

'My father has rejected him on my behalf. You must write the letter at once, Marlow. It must get to the fellow in Saur by dusk.' Gina grew impatient.
She kept imagining her entire family finding out about Richard. Indeed, if that happened, Edmund, her father was sure to return to Gerald from his trip.
