A Visitor Has Arrived

Rafaela's POV

The maid returned with the physician and a flock of servants followed and looked concernly from outside the door.

'This lady is very loved.' I thought to myself.

The servants have stayed here ever since this Lady was born and so they raised and adored Rafaela.

"My Lady, does your head still hurt?", asked the physician.

"I feel fine now, thank you.", I replied, although a bit shocked after hearing my new voice for the first time which turned out to be a gentle and soft one.

Just then, one servant came in the room and announced.

"My Lady, you have a visitor. It is Lady Alexa of Dephrilledawn."

As the memories provided me, Lady Alexa Czarene Valleylore is a Lady from Westeria, a neighboring land. She and Rafaela are known to be friends ever since they were little.

After the servant's announcement, a lady with milky-white skin, long blonde hair, and eyes the color of the sky had appeared. The Lady had a worried look and ran towards me and greeted me with a tight hug.

"Rafa! How dare you make me worried like that!", the girl whined and continued to hug me tightly.

"I can't breathe-"

"Oh, my bad!", She quickly let go of the hug.

"What happened? How did you fall into the water?", she asked.

"I don't remember clearly. I only remember a vivid memory of someone saving me. Who was it?" I replied.

"It was Duke Maxiphil of Chapheltale. He was the one who jumped in the waters to save you."

"Duke Maxiphil?", I blurted out.

Duke Maxiphil Millard Resille, a young Duke of Ganbelle. As far as I remember, Duke Maxiphil is rumored to be a rude and arrogant boy. He was known as the 'Headache' of Ganbelle. Maxiphil is also known for being a merciless person.

'Why would Duke Maxiphil help me out?', I thought to myself.

Still, despite the rumours, I should thank this person for saving me. I must talk to him.

"May I talk to Duke Maxiphil?"

"Yes My Lady, Duke Maxiphil is currently in Ganbelle. If you are doing fine, should I prepare a carriage for you?", the maid from earlier said.

"Please do. I will be going to Ganbelle."

"Lady Rafa, do you want me to accompany you?", Lady Alexa suggested.

"Yes, I could use some company."

"Great!", and with that, she hugged me tightly.

I went down the mansion and as expected, it had a beautiful and elegant design. Outside was a huge white carriage with gold decorations.

'Isn't this a bit too much?', I thought to myself.

I went inside the extravagant carriage. Lady Alexa also went inside and sat across me. After a short while, the carriage began to moved its way.

And with that, the trip to Ganbelle had began.
