After an awkward breakfast with King Aiden and her family, Zahra sat on a chair, staring blankly at the table before her.
Her study room was filled with numerous books that were kept in large bookshelves. A small table was in the middle and two couches faced each other at the back corner of the room.
Zahra took a deep breath before playing the videotape Yuden had sent her. She gulped nervously, hoping that it was enough to prove Yuden was innocent and he hadn't killed Issac.
After all, he was now her husband. Even if she didn't believe in god, she married him keeping him as a witness at the temple.
During her stay in Averlyon, she understood that women here valued their husbands more than anything else. However, Zahra was nothing like those women. She wouldn't be able to forgive Yuden for having killed Issac— no matter how many times he apologized— Zahra gasped.
He never asked for forgiveness.
