The festival
The following morning we had to get up earlier than usual to get ready for the festival. We were a part of the integral activities taking place which was why. Though after the events that had occurred the night prior I wasn't in the mood to go out again especially to see the emperor.
The list of festival activities included a parade that was led by the Crown Prince and Emperor, street performances and festival foods, and lastly, duels that would be taking place in the Imperial Colosseum for the entertainment of the citizens. General Kang and the Emperor would be taking part in that as well.
Our outfits for the day didn't have to be extravagant like what we wore for the ball last night, we had to look nice but practical as today's activities would be outdoors. I just found something from Ayan's closet she had so many fancy clothes anyway.
