Journal entry 1

Hi mom, hi dad, it's Cal again. Tanen and I finally decided to leave town and make either a name for ourselves or die in the wilderness. We packed basic foods but hunting for fresh meat will prove to be the best and most efficient method for the moment. Tanen has soft feet and isn't made for long travel but ill carry him if I have to, only writing at the moment as after eating he has fallen asleep. Quite soundly at that.

He mentioned settling down but id rather just explore till I'm six feet under, either because I'm a hybrid or because of my magick. People will never accept what's different and ill have to live with that fact. I've heard rumours that the Heads of the temple are not pleased with people following a "lesser god" as they say. I thought the two goddesses had to be together, separated by people yet still loving.

I believe I'm rambling on now and Tanen is waking up so ill leave this where it is for now
