Chapter 17 New friends and Roommates

After the first year exam it was me who topped it and that got everyone by surprise and even my roommates were surprised by this and teachers I can say were impressed didn't show but I got it.

I had some incidents where they helped me and I helped like I taught Gero his maths and science topics and Adam I helped him with his project.

While they helped me with mine like bringing stuff for me as I didn't know any shops around we also went for coffee around I ordered straight up.

With months of being going to restaurant for food I kinda had a sense of what when and where of restaurants while the rest just took time , we ate shared stories.

We had a great time I began feeling easy around them it felt like home and now our bond grew closer we were now like something more than friends and less than family.

Well my day went well for most of the times and I received a letter from my family so I just burned it up or tore them up.

It was the school fest boys and girls had pair up I got partnered up with a girl named Lina she was good but was a bit you know lost in her imagination if you know what I mean.

Well she was a rookie so I guided her up to the dance and I took up a breath and took her waist in one and another on shoulder and went with the flow of it at the end I heard a lousd ovation for us .

The guys in room teased Mr about Lina even though I said it was just the dance I loved not the girl but we all know guy friends they never give up when a girl is concerned we both were chosen for competition but it was like clear after separate dancing practice that I led her and she was useless without me so another girl came in she was one year senior and I took a liberty of dance with her and she smiled at my composure. After 7 trials we were finalised.

" You're very graceful and your expressions are soft and subtle like they are needed " She said after our practice

yeah to a guy who is supposed to a bully I heard what she didn't say and have competition to win and she is my partner so gulped my anger and said thanks and left
