Chapter 117

Me and Lydia held hands into the hall. The hall was filled with people. I could barely hear what I was saying. There were a lot of balloons. The hall was decorated nicely and dupe, everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Lydia took my hand off of her, "We are already in the hall. I guess it’s time to separate ways," she said.

"Ohh, that’s true," I replied. "See you later, "I added. Then I began to move away from her, while she took a separate part in walking away. Even

though I didn’t know where I was going to, I thought of walking into the school to go to the field to have a sit-down. What is happening is the opposite of what I had thought.

While I was heading for the entrance into the hallway, I bumped into Ellie by mistake.

"Ouch!" We both exclaimed.

On getting to look up, I found out the person I bumped into was Ellie. She also seemed surprised. She was also looking classy and cute in her grow.

"I like your suit," she shouted for me to hear her.

While she was talking, I listened well.

"Oh, thank you so much," I said, yelling and also nodding.

"You are welcome," she replied.

"You are also looking really appealing tonight," I said, yelling.

"Awwwn, thank you very much," she replied, shouting.

"You're welcome," I replied.

I asked, then the song changed to a slow moving dance. It would be perfect. I stretched my hand towards her, waiting for her hand to be placed and she to say yes. She was going to dance with me. I was really anticipating her answer. Don’t know why.

She broke the silence with the reply that I wanted. "Okay, I will love to dance with you," she replied to my question.

She placed her hand on top of mine, and I held it while we both walked to the dance floor. We took the slow-moving dancing position, then began to move slowly from the left to the right.

We were looking into each other's eyes. Her eyes were really pretty, and so were her lips, which were really soft. I can’t imagine what she was thinking with her small nose.

"Would you like to be my date for the rest of the night since you have no one yet? I hope I’m not too late to ask," I asked.

"Nope, you aren’t too late," she replied.

"You had days before you didn’t," she added.

Wow, does that mean she was waiting for me to ask her to be my prom date? I couldn't think of anyone else, and I didn't want Elizabeth to feel anything when she saw me and her together.

Sorry about that. I had really kept you waiting, "I said."

"Yes you did," she replied.

I assume this would be the perfect time to give her the necklace I bought for her.

"Can you close your eyes and turn around?" I asked.

"Why should I turn around and close my eyes?" she asked.
