Behind everyone, there were several long tables lined up, heaped with a variety of ingredients, such as king crabs, little green dragons, star groupers, oysters, fresh abalones, fresh spotted prawns, squid tentacles, pork belly, beef skewers, meatballs, chicken, pig kidneys, squab, leeks, fresh mushrooms, taro chunks, eggplants, corn, sweet potatoes, chestnuts, peanuts... a feast for the eyes, with everything one could wish for.
The seafood and beef were brought by the Elder Madame Xuanyuan, while the rest was prepared by the Ruo Family.
The kids sat on one side, with the adults sitting opposite.
Ruo Zhou, being the eldest, sat in the middle of the children's section, with Yan Heng and Ruo Shui taking positions at both ends to conveniently look after the kids.
To the left of Ruo Xuan was Xuanyuan Que, and to her right sat Yan Jiaojiao, with Yan Feng beside her.
