The Fantastic Tales Of A Jack Of All Trades

Are you sick of characters gaining supreme powers without earning them? Do you get sick of the phrase "A jack of all trades but a master of none?" Well I am! And as the author I welcome you to this wonderful book following the tales of Vincent! for once I'm gonna make a MC that isn't OP because some god made a stupid mistake or because they for some unexplained reason got a system out of nowhere (don't get me wrong i do genuinely enjoy such stories but recently I've gotten a bit tiered of such tales) in this story it will be earned! Practice makes perfect!

Chapter 33

After saying their goodbyes to Duke Terrice pair embarked on their way home. The carriage was escorted by many guards as the possession left the city.

Both Vincent and Victoria stared out the carriages windows. Their eyes enlightened by joy as they looked at the the forests, grasslands, and farmlands as they passed by.

Victoria was had almost fallen asleep with her head on Vincent's shoulders when the two heard shouting outside.

Vincent swiftly turned to look towards the noise, only to see a small group of black-robed figures running towards the carriage. The guards swung their weapons at the robed figures but none hit them. The faces of the robed figures were hidden under their robes, but despite that, he could subconsciously feel hostility from under the robes. One of the robed figures got close enough to throw a black rock at the carriage. It penetrated the window as the rock began to glow brightly. At the same time, Victoria's necklace started to glow orange and just a moment later both the necklace and the stone became dim. The only problem was that Vincent was nowhere to be seen.
