Getting Together

Earlier before engaging in a fight with Zephyr, Ryu actually stumbled upon Khaleed and spread that smoke to move the ground and separate them.

Khaleed, Delvin and Janessa were together, fighting with him while he was seamlessly attacking them.

"What the hell is happening? Why is he attacking us?" 

"I have no idea," 

Delvin was in disbelief, pushing Ryu back.

Janessa perfectly targeted him with, she could imbue elemental powers into her arrows and send fire ones at him.

He countered her arrows with his lance.

"Not enough for my master," He whispered.

Knowing these three people were not nearly enough for his ruler's joy.

"Do you know him, kids?" Khaleed asked, summoning his book.

He knew confronting Ryu pointed to a dire matter. 

He must not take it lightly and was willing to fight with him all his might if the state required it.
