He Saved Her

Ren Tao was so delighted that he's back again in Belle's side.

"Enough touching.." Mikhail sounded so jealous. He could not let another man touch his woman for too long even if it's just a hug.

Ren Tao reluctantly pulled away from Belle. Then he looked at the man gratefully.

"Thank you... Mr. Khaled..." Ren kept thanking him because he brought him back to Belle.

"I'm using you so no need for thanks..." Mikhail directly said. He had some uses of him that's why he brought him back.

Belle kept her mouth shut on Mikhail's side and her face was devoid of any emotion. Like she's thinking of something.

"Let's go... It's time for us to head to country A and you..." Mikhail said and then faced Ren before continuing,"...come with us. I need you to do something..."

He dragged Belle but not too drastic towards the other wing of the public airport. Ren followed them wordlessly.

As she was lost in thoughts, she remembered the day when Mikhail had saved her and brought her away.

As the Yang Corporation declared bankruptcy and the authorities seized her accounts and for her crimes committed, she was brought by Ren Tao to Fangshan District and there she hid for how many months.

Ren Tao tried his best to hide her but some people were really good at snooping and eventually found a trail from him.

It was Andrew Lewis men and before, they have known that the man was so enraged and wanted her to be dead. Thus, he had no other way around but to surrender to the police and paid for the crimes Belle committed.

He surrendered her katana as a form of evidence and weapon so he was straightly sent to jail and convicted to the crimes without trial. They said that it was such a grave crime and the severity of it allowed them to imprison Ren Tao without defending himself.

It was quite convinient for him too and he did not have the will to defend himself against the crimes Belle committed. He wanted to offer himself as a scapegoat.

This made Belle felt alone and helpless.

That day when Mikhail called her, her step-mother, Lilly had formed an alliance to the local union to oust her out from the seat.

She tried to assassinate her and hired some killers. Luckily, Ren Tao did not go away that day and she was able to escape the trap Lilly had prepared for her.

She was going to the port that day to inspect the damaged ships personally and never did she imagine that Lilly had hired several men to kill her.

She escaped but not unscathed as they managed to injure her. She fought back hard to live and got even with Lilly because she caused her death.

Then, she went to hiding. As her wounds were severe, she still managed to pull herself together even after Ren had surrrendered himself to the authorities.

Then he came and saved her.

She was on the brink of death when he did and luckily he did if not, she had long been reunited with her great grandfather into the afterlife.

She was suffering from a bad fever because of her wounds when he found her. She was lying alone in the damp and remote warehouse. Surrounded by empty cans and bottles of water and the smell of spoilt food permeated on the air, she laid there like lifeless.

His heart ached for the woman he found quite impressive and one of a kind. He did not mind the stench he smelt but was worried about the woman which was on the brink of death. He carried her out from that place and instructed his men to burn the place without trace.

Then, he brought her back to his own country.

When she woke up, all of her wounds were dressed but she felt weak and unable to get out from the bed.

During the time that she could not care for herself, Mikhail helped her but she's too afraid that the man had other motives of bringing and saving her. So, instead, she throw a fit that she wanted to go back to China and face all the charges.

She had no reason and will to live afterall, she's alone and no family.

No one wanted her except for Ren and her great grandfather.

Mikhail then offered her a hand but she's quite reluctant to accept. She didn't know him well and even though they had been on collaboration with the country S, she still could not trust him.

That night, she prepared to leave him when he silently appeared before her. He did not ask where she'sgoing but he looked at her with those golden orbs with so much emotion.

It made her speechless and blank out. When he spoke, she was about to jump out from the window and leave him behind but proposed a deal that she couldn't reject.

"Marry me and I'll grant your freedom.. I... I needed someone who could act as my wife and I don't know anybody can do the job.." that was he said.

His voice were cold and unfeeling. It was like more of a threat than a proposal. A threat that left no room for her to decline.
