Flashback 3

That same day, she had a scheduled plant visit and that would mean that she has to travel for almost 3 hours on road. She did not want to go to but Mr. Tao insisted that she has to do the trouble to look at the plant in her own eyes and to evaluate things if they were still in sync with the current data they have.

It was a hot afternoon when she had done most of her work at the office. She only left some documents to be signed on the table when she will get back from the plant visit, she will work on those. Thinking that it may sound so troublesome to personally check the plant, she did not care that much.

The plant was located at Fang Shan District where most of the plants located. She had to traverse from Beijing proper about 38 kilometers southwest. The place was rather sub-urban which there were lots of lakes and rivers along the way.

Mr. Tao accompanied her to ensure her safety. Though, they had disregarded the threat that Mr. Ma declared that morning, they have still to make proper arrangements to avoid mishaps.

Their car was not slow nor fast. Belle could even enjoy the scenery they passed through. They have still lots of time even though they have on that road much longer than the usual travel.

Belle kept looking outside as she enjoyed what she had seen so far.

Mr. Tao have been glancing at the side mirror to see that one car had followed them incessantly. Mr. Tao did not think much of it but after some time, the car that had been on their tail has gaining some distance over them. They were closing in.

"Young Miss, bogey 12 o'clock. What should we do about it?" Mr. Tao asked her while glancing at the side mirror. He had been long prepared himself to step on the accelerator once she will give the word.

Looking at her assistant with a calm face, she could not help but feel excited about it on the inside. She could not think how long it was when someone wanted to die so badly at her hands.

"Let them close in." she said calmly without the hint of excitement in her voice. She reached out the compartment under her seat and grabbed the katana that had been lying there silently from who knows how long. Seeing this, Mr. Tao could only lit some candles over the people on that car. It's gonna be the start of bloodbath.

She looked at it like it was some kind of beauty. She then undid the cloth that was wrapped at the scabbard. After she did, a dark red scabbard has seen with a dragon embedded on it. It elegantly coiled himself over the scabbard. The dragon was in silver, which was gave an oppressive feeling to whomever wanted to touch it. It even had that scary and blood lust aura on it. Belle touch it softly. She caressed the scabbard like a mother to it's infant.

The car that has been tailing them overtook them and from a distance, they blocked their way. She looked at them coldly.

'Such idiocy!' she exclaimed in her mind.

Mr. Tao stopped and honked the car to signal them to move out from the road but the other party did not intend to do it. No one got out from the car. It was a remote road which was surrounded by trees and the sun is already setting . The orange and yellow rays created a majestic view over the dense forest.

Mr. Tao got out from the car and headed towards the direction of the other car. He wanted to talk to the owner of the car but instead, someone grabbed him from the inside of the car which made him lose his balance. He fell on the asphalt road with his butt first because of the unexpected light push from one of the men.

Seeing this laughable scene, Belle could not help but burst into laughter.

He got up immediately and turned his back on the car with such undesirable emotion on his face. He really wanted to kill those arrogant bastards but his young miss' mood should not be ruined or else, he would end up walking back to the city proper.

"What do you want?" Mr. Tao asked impatiently. His back facing theirs and then, he turned around with that creepy smile.

"Hand over the woman.."one of the men demanded.

"Young Miss, they're asking for you." Mr. Tao called her out. He really wanted to beat up these bastards until they would turn into minced meat but his boss wanted to play and also, they don't have that much time.
