I made it home and I was exhausted. I picked up my phone "thanks for covering for me :)" I sent it to Adrian. He instantly responded, "something came up at work". I knew he was lying, and he responded too quickly to be at work.

I just responded "🤨"

He then said, "that's what husbands do right?" I smiled, big and bright. I had to respond, "yes with a wink".

He responded, "see you at the wedding, wife".

I didn't even know when we were getting married. I didn't know if it was soon or months. I figured eventually someone would tell me when my wedding was. It's so weird to think I won't even plan my wedding.

A few days later an envelope arrived in the mail. It was addressed to my mom, from Adrian ward, and Alexa Grey. Guess this is how I find out when I'm getting married. I opened it "oh god, it's in 2 weeks". My family started calling and texting about my wedding. I tried my best to answer questions, but I had no idea. I decided to text Adrian

"Do I need to buy a dress? "

He responded with a shrug.

"That's helpful. "I responded

"Do you have any information?"

Adrian responded "November 9th, 2 pm. Glen mere mansion".

"I'll just ask your dad"

He responded, "good luck, he has told me a damn thing".

I responded "yea..."

I called Sebastian. He gave me the low down on the wedding. I didn't have to do anything, not even pick out a dress. It was all taken care of." He then paused and he was uncomfortable "you'll have to take care of the things you'll need for after the wedding. umm. For you and Adrian". Excellent I thought, I doubt that's happening, but I should prepare, in case". The idea of being intimate scared me to death. The idea of being intimate with Adrian was less scary and more exciting, I had to admit. I'm not sure I could do it but I was willing to try, that is if he wanted to. I made sure that all the other moms were invited, which they were to my surprise. I wanted someone there for me not just my family. I got off the phone and I had butterflies in my stomach. This was happening!
