CHAPTER 10
BAILEY's POV
[ HOSPITAL SCENE]
[I was having a difficulty in breathing. I slowly opens my eyes, My vision was blurred. I felt heaviness on my full mouth. My head was paining so much. From my blurry vision I saw 4 people wearing white coat. They were standing in front of me and talking to each other, They were busy with each other. I tried so hard to talk but I couldn't. My throat feels dried. 'Where I am?' this thought suddenly pop up to my mind. Then I heard a familiar female voice.]
"Bailey, are you alright?" Samantha asked me in a very worried voice.
[ I wanted to answer her but because of dry throat i couldn't. Nurse helped me to sit on the bed. Doctor approached me. ]
" How aee you feeling now? " Doctor asked me.
" Good" I replied with dry and sore throat.
" See if you're feeling any difficulty in speaking, so do not talk. Answer me by just nodding your head in YES or NO. Okay?" Doctor told me.
" Okay so are you feeling pain in your throat?" Doctor asked me.
I nodded in ' Yes '
" Well you're very lucky patient. You didn't get deep injuries, if the peoples who took you here couldn't make on time you will be probably in coma or in serious condition, but now no need to worry. Take a rest for 4 to 5 days, untill your injuries will recover and you can go back to you normal life. " Doctor told and left the room.
" Bailey where is Tashbhii ?" Samantha asked me.
" Yes, Where is she? " I reverse the same question to her.
" I don't know where she goes. I called her hundred of times but her signal is unreachable. She's not in the hostel, not even in college. It's been around 8 hours after this accident happened to you and she's nowhere. " Samantha replied.
" I think we need to call the police. What if she's in big trouble because last night she was with you. You were laying on the road next to grocery store. The locals bought you here in this hospital. Then doctor contacted me from your mobile but there's no trace of Tashbhii. What happened last night? " Samantha asked me so many questions at once.
[ Doctors already called the police because after seeing the injuries and condition of Bailey they understood that it's a crime case.
I started to think what happened last night, tears are running through my eyes. Nurse helped me to calm down.]
[ Police entered the room.]
" Are you Bailey?" Police asked me
" Yes" I replied.
" And you?" Police asked Samantha.
" Sir I am Samantha her roommate" Samantha replied.
" So can you explain me what's the scenario?" Police asked Samantha.
" Sir, Her name is Bailey. Last night she and our anither roommate named Tashbhii went to grocery store at midnight. After they left the hostel, around about 1 hours when they didn't returned i started to worry where they both are! Then i got a phone call from hospital that Bailey is in the hospital having injury on her head. I rushed here and got to know locals and owner of grocery store saw her laying on the middle of the road with her hair full of blood."
[ After saying all these, Samantha started crying.]
" And sir our another roommate Tashbhii who was with bailey is missing from last 8 hours. I called her hundred of times but her signal is unreachable." Samantha replied while crying.
" Okay Bailey what happened last night? See no need to stress just try to remember." Police asked Bailey.
