A man was sitting on a bench on top of the rooftop of his apartment. He was drinking beer while looking up in the sky there he saw many stars and begin to wonder and say that "I "WISH" i would be like of those stars shining brightly if i became a basketball superstar, it would've been ok to me if i didn't reach my final and biggest goal on being the first Filipino basketball player to play in the NBA. but i would still have been happy if i made it and played in the PBA(Philippine Basket Association) and also to represent my country the Philippines on the international stage.

But i guess it is too late now that i am already 38 years old if not for my mother's family owning this apartment and with the money that given to me by my father to support myself i guess i won't even have a decent life right now and live in this apartment" he said audibly(1)

After finished drinking his beer and was done staring at the stars he started walking to the stairs to head back to his unit. while walking down the stairs he was feeling hungry so when he arrived at his unit he directly goes to the kitchen to cook some instant noodles which was Lucky Me Pancit Canton Calamnsi Flavor(2) and he also made some side dishes like a hotdog and scrambled eggs after finished cooking his meal he sat directly in front of his tv and turn in on and then he watch some highlights of an NBA game that broadcast early that day after he put it on tv he started eating after 20 minutes he done eating and then he headed back to the kitchen to start washing the dishes after he was done washing the dishes he goes to the bathroom to take a bath when he was done taking a bath he headed to he bedroom to lie down on his bed and then he took his iPad and goes to the web novel app and started reading his favorite novel.

the novel that he was reading is about a guy who wanted to be a superstar and the mc got transported to an alternative world. and now he is re-reading this novel again and his favorite arc in this novel was when became a hacker called GOD"2" was created(ok now ill stop talking about it because i know some of you have already read the IRAS or some of you haven't so ill stop talking about it to avoid some spoilers for you all. well, i also recommend it to you guys to read it if you guys want to) after reading for about 15 to 20 minutes he was glad that it is still enjoyable for him to read this novel again. because he has been reading a lot of novels that the mc reincarnate or travel to another world and get another chance since he started reading about these novels since he started dreaming of getting a second chance again and right now but right now he is living his life one day at a time because it's been almost a decade since he got depressed but he is still imagining what would have happened if those things didn't happen.

Because while growing up he was called a genius in playing basketball but when he was playing in the Fiba Asian qualifier U19 he got injured so he got sidelined for a bit of time so he after he got injured and for rehab, he started walking in Luneta park and then while he was walking one day a kid playing with a ball and the ball was going in the highway and the kid was trying to chase the ball when he saw this he didn't hesitate to use all his strength to save the kid but with that he saves the kid but when he saves the kid he landed on his knees which where his injury was and it was just being healed and now the knees were completly shattered the doctor told him he can still play basketball but it will be hard to play professionally and with that news, it was quite hard for him to accept for a few months and then when he was getting his injury out of his mind and playing professionally but right now he is living his life one day at a time because it has been almost a decade since he got depress because of the way his mother the have died and he couldn't accept it right away and the reason for his mothers death was a stray bullet to the back of the skull. the stray bullet comes from the gun of a drug carrier who was being chased by a police officer since the police were closing on him he started firing his weapon and one of those bullets he fired was hit through the back of the skull of her mother who was running away from the scene to go to a safe place.

and the timing of his mother death was also untimely especially it just have been a few since his injury which might threaten his career on playing basketball that's why it was hard for him and he got depressed because of the accumulated pressure from his injury and his mother dying
