The Extra System: Summoner of Shadows

"Teacher, why does the Church call summoners evil?" The priest’s voice was grim. "Because they defy the gods. They summon horrors that devour worlds. It is not just power—it is corruption given form." A student hesitated. "But could one not use that power for—" “Silence!” The priest’s eyes burned with fervor. “There is no redemption for a summoner. And now, they speak of the worst of them all—a Summoner of Shadows. A heretic who will plunge the world into eternal darkness. He is the epitome of evil, and when he rises, he will destroy us all.” ————————————————- [New Extra Character Registered… Cedric Everhart.] [The Extra System has initiated.] Awakening as Cedric Everhart, ninth prince and prisoner, he carries a curse: the most reviled class in existence—[Summoner of Shadows]. I Refuse, Again

Cedric treated showing off like an itch. Every human had one, but if done at the right time… it would be so damn satisfying. If he was good at something, his work would speak for itself. It was the same in his previous world, where he kept his circle small and kept a low profile.

Alde was still on the receiving end of countless sword strikes, his hand rather bruised. Cedric noticed that his new friend was not a show-off like him. After all, he never used his technique that could put a hole in a boulder.

"Stop right there!" Cedric shouted while jumping on the stage. The entire audience was surprised to see someone interrupting a duel. It was not only rude, but an insult to the king himself. However, once they saw it was Cedric, they could only sigh.

Tristan jumped back and stopped attacking, while Alde stared at Cedric in confusion. His actions were bizarre, even for the person being saved.
