Women understand women best. She was just taking a risk to take Jason away, and Leslie had given her the "opportunity." It seemed that Leslie really liked Alan…
With this thought, a fleeting sadness crossed Jason's heart but disappeared almost immediately.
She needed to hurry and get Jason out of here; this was not a safe place.
"Have you seen this woman?" A few men in black clothing were showing a photo to passersby not far away.
Blanche lowered her hat. Fortunately, she had disguised herself well today; otherwise, just a glance at the photo would have been enough for them to recognize her.
"No, I haven't seen her…"
"Then have you seen this child?"
"There are so many children coming and going; how could I remember them all?"
"Check the surveillance footage. Young Master Alan said that if we can't find her, she must be hiding. Be careful; this woman is very important to Young Master Alan. If you can't find her, don't come back!"
"Yes."
Blanche's heart sank upon hearing this. She quickly turned her back, holding Jason tightly in her arms. Alan really knew her well; he even knew this.
Blanche hid in a dark corner. Just as she was thinking about how to leave, she suddenly heard one of the men making a phone call in a low voice.
"I've followed them to the seaside. Young Master Alan said if she escapes, she will definitely leave New York."
A woman's voice came from the other end of the line. "Keep a close watch. If you succeed, you won't be without your rewards."
"Yes, I will definitely complete the task."
"Once you find her, act immediately. We want her alive, or we want to see her dead!"
"Yes!"
Blanche was shocked to hear this. Besides Alan, there were actually others looking for her… and there were spies planted by Leslie around Alan!
Blanche felt a strong sense of crisis. Alan's power was something she couldn't contend with; with his capabilities, he could find her in less than a day. If she wanted to evade him, she had to find a place far from Alan. Blanche looked around and spotted a ship by the seaside, and an idea formed in her mind.
"Mommy, where are we going?" Jason asked.
"Jason, would you like to go somewhere else with Mommy?" Blanche asked.
"I would," Jason replied with determination on his little face. "As long as I'm with Mommy, I'm willing to go anywhere."
Blanche stroked Jason's little head, feeling a bit guilty. "Mommy will make sure you have a stable life."
Jason held her hand tightly. "I believe in Mommy."
The two of them boarded the ship, and Blanche asked the crew, learning that it was headed to the seaside city. She felt a bit more at ease. In the vast ocean, even Alan would take some time to find her. If she went to the seaside city, she would definitely be able to hide.
