Just now, Blanche was indeed about to get drunk, but after Felix scared her, she was completely sober.

"I won't let you take me home," Blanche said stubbornly.

If Felix found out that she was living with Allen, or if Allen found out that she was with Felix… it would be a disaster.

"I'm not doing anything to you; I'm just taking you home," Felix said gently.

"I know," Blanche said helplessly, "but have you thought about how others see it? They… all saw you with me… how will they view me in the future? I don't want others to misunderstand that there's something between us…"

"Oh, is that so?" Felix laughed. "Let them misunderstand; it doesn't matter."

Blanche rolled her eyes. This man really didn't understand the trouble he was causing her.
