Era Of Chaos

Mian and Dion's combined silence confused Flare. He raised his head up to ask what the problem was when he noticed the red glow that was pouring into the room from outside the window. The eerie crimson light startled him, and his movement drew Mian out of his daze.

"No... It's already happening?" Mian spoke to himself.

"No way those are all Gifts." Dion whispered in disbelief as he approached them window. Mian got out of bed, with Flare beside him, and made his way over to Dion's side by the window.

The sight left him speechless. Just from what he could see, he was already able to spot thousands of red flaming dots in the distance. He did not even want to think of what would be present on other parts of the continent or even the world at large.

Mian quickly turned around and left the room, hurrying to go and join the discussion that Daven would surely be engaging in with the rest of the council. He could rest later, because this matter was of the utmost importance.
