The Betrayal

Claudius hummed in his sleep and buried his face in the pillow next to his head as an etempt to ignore the noise that was coming from outside but no matter how much he hides his face the noise keep annoying him which is why he sighed and opened his eyes to look around.

He was sleeping in a sitting position and was wrapped in a warm blanket. The fire in the fire place already died down. The king was also sleeping right next to him in sitting position too on the couch.

Claudius groaned and pitched the bridge of his nose trying to get his consciousness back because apparently he spent the entire night talking with the king and drinking wine after they finished having dinner.
