The Eternal Traveler: A Journey through Twilight and Beyond

Ethan Hunt, a normal person suddenly gets an opportunity to travel to different worlds, starting with the world of 'Twilight.'. Not only does he discover that he now possesses immortality, but he also has the incredible power to copy other people's abilities. With his newfound abilities, Ethan must navigate the challenges and adventures that await him in this Twilight world and beyond. What should you expect from this fanfiction? 1) MC will have a system. Though the system won't have any type of consciousness. It will be more like an information interface that will summarize MC's abilities and their level. There system will not give any quests or rewards to the MC. Basically MC will not be a slave to the system as system will not direct what he should or shouldn't do. (I hope you are clear about this point.) 2) I have not yet decided whether the fanfiction should contain whether Romance or Harem. We will have a vote about this in future chapters. 3) MC will be a Chaotic Neutral person. A chaotic neutral person follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. Of course this applies only to the people who are strangers to him. MC won't hesitate a bit to protect his loved ones. 4) The starting world will be 'Twilight'. I will update you guys, the list of the other worlds in the future chapters. The 'Twilight' world will last for at least 120 chapters, though it may also extend beyond that. I know 120 chapters is quite a lot, but this world is the starting world of our MC as it will shape his personality and his future purview. So please be patient and read it all the way. 5) English can be considered as my third language so I will use the Chat GPT in order to improve the grammar of my fanfiction thus making it interesting and easy for the readers to understand. However if the readers find it to be troublesome or problematic to read then please communicate it to me through the chapter comments. Chat GPT can make the conversations quite robotic, so I will try not to let it affect the conversations between the characters. 6) Lastly, the MC won't be a bystander in the plot of the world. He will actively try to interfere in the plot and won't be afraid to change the plot. Well if you wanted to read the same plot over and again, you could have watched the movies instead of coming here to read my fanfiction. Hope you guys are okay with it. Also the fanfiction will contain quite a few OC's. Moreover each chapter will have a bare minimum of 1000 words and it can go beyond that. I guess this could be considered quite a detailed description of my fanfiction. Please bear with me and enjoy your read. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I own nothing except the main character of the book. The Twilight and the upcoming worlds to which the MC would travel to belong to their respective creators. Also the cover page is not mine. If the owner of the cover page wants it to be taken down, then it can be done. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For 5+ advance chapters visit my patreon. patreon.com/StoryTeller229

9.Fight for Survival (Part 2)

'.....'= Thoughts

"....."= Conversations

____________________________________________________________________________________

Ethan felt a surge of adrenaline course through his veins as the male vampire announced the beginning of the fight. He knew that this fight was not one one one and people could team up with each other, so he had to be even more cautious

Without further ado, the fight began. A chaos erupted as the captives charged at each other, their bare fists flying through the air. Ethan quickly realized that he needed to be smart about this if he wanted to survive. He dodged a punch from a burly man and retaliated with a well-aimed kick to the stomach, sending his opponent stumbling backwards.

He quickly observed that the captives had started surrounding athe strongest people among them, wanting to take them down first.

The six people he had assessed earlier were surrounded by three to four captives each.

Ethan's heart raced as he assessed the situation and then focused on his surroundings. Four opponents had started surrounded him, their eyes filled with bloodlust and adrenaline. He knew that he had to defend himself, and that meant using every skill he had to survive. He knew he had to think fast. Instead of trying to take them all on at once, he decided to focus on one opponent at a time and positioned himself in place where only person could reach him properly at a time.

The first opponent, a wiry man with a wild look in his eyes, lunged at Ethan with a powerful punch. Ethan sidestepped the blow and countered with a swift jab to the man's throat. He heard a gasp as the man stumbled back, clutching at his neck and struggling to breathe.

The second opponent, a woman with quick reflexes, attempted to catch Ethan off guard with a kick at his groin. Ethan sidestepped, evading her attack with calculated precision. He saw an opening and delivered a bone-crushing uppercut to her jaw, the force of the blow sending her crashing to the ground.

He too much of the groin attacks from the leader of kidnappers and he was furious with the wom had aimed at his groin, bringing back some bad memories.

The third opponent, a muscular brute with an intimidating presence, charged at Ethan with a roar. Ethan braced himself and met the brute's attack head-on, their fists colliding in a violent clash. With every strike, Ethan felt the rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins, fuelling his determination to survive. He fought with unyielding ferocity, his fists delivering punishing blows to his opponent's body.

Finally, the fourth opponent, a skilled fighter with a dangerous glint in his eyes, circled Ethan, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Ethan knew that he couldn't afford to let his guard down for even a second. As the opponent closed in, Ethan anticipated his move and swiftly countered with a barrage of rapid punches, each one landing with brutal force.

The fight raged on, the sounds of flesh meeting flesh and ragged breaths filling the air. Ethan fought with a primal intensity, his fists and legs becoming deadly weapons in his quest for survival. He squared off against each opponent with unwavering resolve, using his strength and agility to gain the upper hand in the brutal melee.

With each opponent he faced, Ethan's fists became his lifeline, his means of asserting his dominance and staving off the relentless onslaught. He fought with a fierce determination, channeling every ounce of his focus and skill into each devastating blow. His opponents fell before him, their bodies battered and broken by the sheer force of Ethan's unyielding fury.

Ethan had lost himself into he fight and blood as his eyes reddened. The fight seemed to stretch on endlessly, each minute feeling like an eternity as Ethan grappled with his opponents. He felt a trickle of blood running down his cheek from a cut above his eye, but he pushed the pain aside, focusing on the primal instinct to survive.

"Stop," A voice sounded in the room bringing an end to the ongoing fight.

The chaos subsided as the captives stopped fighting on the command of the voice.

The room was filled with the stench of sweat and blood, the heavy iron tang of it thick in the air. Bodies lay strewn across the ground, some groaning in pain, others completely unconscious. Ethan stood in the center of it all, his chest heaving with exertion, his fists clenched and bloodied. He could feel the bruises and cuts that decorated his body, but they were nothing compared to the adrenaline that still surged through his veins.

As his eyes slowly adjusted to the dim light, Ethan took in the sight of the room. The walls were splattered with dark splotches of blood, and the floor was slick with crimson, making it difficult to find solid footing. It was a scene of absolute carnage, a battleground where survival had been the only goal.

'How are they able to control themselves in front of all this blood,' Ethan wondered as he saw that the two vampires didn't even flinch at the sight of all the blood. It felt like the blood had absolutely no effect on them.

As the adrenaline trailed off, Ethan felt pain all over his body. He saw that his right arm was swollen and his left leg was broken. There were few bruises on his chest and stomach. The pain started registering as soon as the adrenaline left his body.

Despite all the pain Ethan didn't made even a tiny bit of sound. The torture that the leader of the Kidnappers had put him through for eleven days had heightened his resistance to pain. Though he felt pain, he still controlled himself from screaming.

However the same could not be said for the rest of the captives as some of them were groaning and wincing due to the pain. Some had bruises and cuts all over their bodies, while others had broken limbs like Ethan.

"Well, Well, Well. Congratulations to the ten winners who are still standing on their feet. I admit it was quite interesting to watch you tear each other up. However the round is not finished yet. The rule States that you have to kill the other captives until only ten remain. But I see no dead people here," The female vampire smiled evilly.

"In the next five minutes all the people who are standing should kill the people lying on the ground. Otherwise I will kill every single one of you here," The male vampire added sending a chill down the spines of the captives.
