Going a little further

Meg: You used the weapon's grace, didn't you?

Legend: Ummm... If I did... Should I really be telling you? I mean… I don't want to mess up the whole space-time-continuum and all that...

Meg: You're referencing that magic box from your world again, aren't you? – Meg would get annoyed anytime Legend made a reference to television or pop culture. This time was no exception.

Legend: Ok... The thing is, a little over a week from now, the Eastern army will corner us at Moriah. But out of the blue, this guy that helped us earlier in Lybia appears from out of nowhere and single-handedly obliterates the entire enemy force. He then goes crazy, attacking us and killing us all...

Meg: WHAT?!

Legend: Keep your voice down!

Meg: Who is he?

Legend: You said he was one of the Four Fiends... The Grand Master. Or you will say... Wait... you already did, but you haven't yet... Ugh! My brain is going to explode!

Meg: But that's impossible... the one known as the Grand Master doesn't have a body he can use in this dimension...

Legend: Future you said it was him... And he said, "You're only half right."

Meg seemed to have understood something important but purposefully withheld the information from Legend.

Legend: What is it? What did you just realize?

Meg: I believe we don't have the time to discuss that now. So you want me to talk to the Dark Wizard and company to tell them where they can find a powerful weapon of darkness?

Legend: I figure they'd be interested in a thing like that... since I remember hearing you guys say that they annihilated a village of ninjas looking for one. And hopefully, they would battle Relm and maybe weaken him. That way, I'd have a better shot at defeating him! Or maybe... just maybe... it turns out that we don't have to face him at all!

Meg: You came up with this plan all by yourself, huh? Impressive!

Legend: Thanks!

Meg: Those guys will definitely be interested. What they did to the village of ninjas is proof of that. If they are looking for the complete set, they probably need them to break the dimensional barrier so Adramellech can enter the Arkana...

Nimrod overheard the conversation from the point where they mentioned Merlin.

Nimrod: Are you planning on talking to the Dark wizard? Are you out of your mind? Why the heck would you want to do that?

Meg: It's just strategy. You have no reason to worry.

Nimrod: All you guys are nuts. Heck, I'm probably nuts too, since I'm here with ya... But... If you really plan on following through with that madness, talk to the one called Zeldrys. He at least seems to be coherent. Don't get me wrong... the guy's a cold-blooded murderer, but at least it looks like he has some sort of a code. The other one, Merlin, he's a complete psycho. So yeah... There's that.

Meg: Thanks, Nimrod. That was a valuable contribution.

Nimrod: Yeah... whatever.

Meg: Ok. There's just one problem... If I go out there... I'm not sure I'd survive...

Legend: I'll go with you...

Meg: No! You have to stay with the king. Don't deviate from the original events if you don't have to... Mess around too much with time, and your solution may turn out to be worse than the problem.

Legend: But then... If you died... Me coming back to this moment would have been for nothing!

Meg: You said those guys over there didn't make it, right? – Meg was talking about Gregg Raines, Alonzo Gabriev, and Jean Riovanes.

Legend: What are you planning to do?!

Meg: Just leave it to me.

Meg went to talk to the king for a moment, and then Alonzo came up and offered to hold off the enemy in case they managed to catch up with them.

Alonzo: Your Majesty. Gregg and I will stay behind. We can hold them off and at least buy you some time to escape.

Jean: Why are you both so eager to die? I will provide assistance. That way, you'll have a better chance of buying time. And who knows?... You might even survive!

King Uther: Very well. But besides that, I give you another dangerous mission. You must escort our friend Meg to deliver a message of utmost importance to a man called Zeldrys behind enemy lines.

Alonzo: Your Majesty, is that wise? I don't th-

Gregg: It shall be done, Your Majesty. Leave it to us.

King Uther: Godspeed, Dalmacian warriors!

Legend, Nimrod, Richard (unconscious), Rachel (unconscious), king Uther and another knight and wizard headed to the castle underground to escape with the rest of the kingdom's citizens. While Gregg, Alonzo, and Jean thought about how to get Meg to Zeldrys. Alonzo wasn't very thrilled about the idea.

Alonzo: Why did you interrupt me?! Since you so happily volunteered for this mission, I'd like to hear how you plan to accomplish it...

Gregg: It's pretty simple. We probably won't survive, but it's a simple plan nonetheless.

Jean: As long as this buys them enough time, I don't mind offering my life. My little brother Axel is among the refugees... And I'd do anything to keep him safe!

Gregg: I am an only child, but I've got a baby boy. I only wish I could have seen him walk...

Alonzo: Well, my two kids are my entire world. It looks like I won't be around to see them become wizards. I sure hope your message is worth it, little bird - Meg looked at him with an angry face but didn't bother saying anything out of place.

Meg: Believe me... The survival of the Arkana itself is at stake here, and my message will be the difference between extinction and the survival of the ones you love.

Jean: I don't really know who you are, Meg, but I believe you. And that's all I needed to hear.

Alonzo: To protect the Arkana.

Gregg: To protect our own.

Jean: To protect the ones we love.

Gregg gave them details of his plan; all the while, the ground was shaking violently due to the three giants, Fin, Fan, and Fun, stomping about and clearing all the buildings and structures in the castle.

Jean cast "Wall" and "Regeneration" on everyone. Alonzo came out of hiding and got the giants' attention.

Alonzo: HEY, YOU BIG UGLY IDIOTS! I BET YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!

While Alonzo ran in one direction and the giants began chasing after him, Gregg jumped in the other direction holding Meg. As Gregg moved, he saw Zeldrys at a distance, watching things unfold. He matched the description Nimrod had given Meg. Using his incredible Jump skills, Gregg jumped really high and landed just a few steps away from Zeldrys.

Gregg: Are you called Zeldrys? My friend here has an urgent message for you.

Zeldrys: Is that so?

Andreza: Cease him!

The monster guards were about to grab him, and Meg flew and started talking while Gregg defended himself.

Meg: I thought you would be interested in knowing the whereabouts of one of the weapons of the arsenal of darkness, but it seems I must have been mistaken...

When he realized that it was related to a weapon of the arsenal of darkness, he had captured Zeldrys' undivided attention.

Zeldrys: Andreza... Please let them speak. It is of utmost importance.

Andreza: You acknowledge my command... and you remembered my name... - Andreza uttered with a surprised look on her face while blushing.

Andreza: Very well. Stand down!

The monster army stopped attacking Gregg. But the three giants were still after Alonzo. They caught up to him and tried to crush him, swatting him with their hands, but he was doing a great job dodging them.

Alonzo: Is that the best you've got? I think I'm getting tired of this dance... it's gotten way too boring!

Fan, the giant, was distraught. He started using his innate skill to manipulate winds. Several different air currents began flowing, lifting rocks and boulders from the ground. Alonzo was caught in one of those many air currents and was being raised from the ground by it. Fun was getting close to grabbing Alonzo, but Jean revealed herself with a powerful Hold spell to incapacitate Fan. The wind currents were gone, and everything started falling. Alonzo was almost crushed by one of the boulders, but he sliced it with his sword and got away in time to avoid being caught by Fun.

Zeldrys: What are you? Is this one of your magic users doing?

Meg: I'm just offering you some valuable information. But I won't give it to you unless you guarantee you'll let us go.

Zeldrys: I cannot promise you that. I am not the one in command here.

Andreza was blushing. It meant so much to her to hear that Zeldrys acknowledged her command.

Andreza: How much is this information worth to you, Lord Zeldrys?

Zeldrys: It is invaluable.

Andreza: Then you have my word. No harm shall come to you. Now speak.

Meg: {Not really sure I can trust her, but the main thing is that I deliver the message... At least that way, I can offer Legend a better chance at victory.}

Alright then. Listen up. A rod of incredible power will be at the foot of the mountain range of the Kingdom of Moriah ten days from now. The person who holds it has extraordinary abilities, but a group as capable as yours should be able to manage... especially since he won't be expecting you.

Zeldrys: I see. Why are you telling me this?

Meg started flapping his wings and hovering in the air again.

Meg: I have my reasons. Just tell your colleagues that a little bird gave you the hot tip!

Zeldrys: For your sake, this had better not be a trick.

Zeldrys took out the Masamune blade and restricted Meg's movements with his Seigen technique. Gregg tried to attack with his spear and even pierced Zeldrys with it. But Zeldrys didn't flinch. Andreza cast Fireball  and seemingly blasted Gregg away.

Meg: You-gave me-- your-word...

Andreza: That's right, little bird. I said no harm would come to You. I said nothing about the others.

While Zeldrys was capturing Meg and Gregg was out of the battle, Jean and Alonzo were still battling the giant trio and were beginning to fall to exhaustion.

Jean: Alonzo! We either finish this now, or we're as good as dead!

Alonzo: Still hoping to survive, aren't you? Well, I'll draw them in. Have you got anything that could take out three giants in one blast?

Jean: I know one very powerful Dimensional spell I was saving for a moment like this. Buy me a few moments to channel it! We just might-

As they strategized mid-battle, they both found themselves sinking into the ground. Fin was chanting something in the giant language—apparently, the equivalent of a giant's Snare spell. Fan used a powerful gust of wind to lift many boulders high in the sky. Fun motioned with his hands, and they all began to fall.

Alonzo and Jean just looked at each other, knowing it was the end.

Alonzo: No regrets

Jean: For the ones we-

Zeldrys received word from Demona that she had obtained the Demon-Halberd. He, in turn, informed her that he learned the location of a weapon that fits the description of the Omega Rod. He picked up Meg and was getting ready to go.

Andreza: Wait, Lord Zeldrys... Where are you going?

Zeldrys: Our alliance has come to an end. We no longer need you to believe we are your allies.

Andreza: What?! Wait! I won't let you leave here alive!

She saw Zeldrys smile after her words. That caught her off guard since he didn't seem like the type to be smiling.

Andreza: What's so funny?

Zeldrys: An irony that you have no way of understanding.

Zeldrys held Meg and jumped so high that he ended up out of sight.

Zeldrys: You will be my prisoner until your information is confirmed. If what you say is true, then I will set you free unharmed. If you somehow trick us... It will not end nicely for you.

Meg: {Just my luck!}

~ Ten thousand years ago, before the War of Magic ~

The Second Guardian had gathered the materials to forge an arsenal of divine weapons. He was the Guardian that oversaw The Arkana. He needed to baptize the weapons in The Supreme Source to forge this arsenal of light. The Second Guardian had begun his work.

Meanwhile, a familiar face was seen back in Uranos, but there was something very different about him.

Angel: Do you sense that? This dread... Someone that shouldn't be here has arrived!

Adramellech: Fear not, brothers. It is I.

Angel soldier: Adramellech! We thought the Dark Dimension consumed you!

Adramellech: In a way, it did... The old me, for that matter. I am now reborn, and I see clearly what must be done. Join me, brothers! We can prevent the Universe created by The One from experiencing the ruin humanity will cause!

"You can't be serious!"

"What is he talking about?"

"I do not agree with his intent!"

"He is right! We should cull the humans before they destroy Creation!"

Adramellech's sudden presence in Uranos was causing dissension among the angels. Most of them rejected his speech, but there were several that sympathized with his preaching.

Fourth Guardian: Adramellech. You survived... No... You are not Adramellech anymore, are you? I sense pure evil emanating from your aura! YOU DO NOT BELONG IN THIS PLACE OF LIGHT!

Adramellech: There is no evil in my heart, Selaphiel. However, I can see what's hidden in yours.

Fourth Guardian: LIAR! I won't allow you to slander my noble name and deceive the inhabitants of this place that houses perfection!

The Fourth Guardian used his superior power to erase Adramellech's abilities in dimensional travel. He was opening a portal to send him back to the Dark Dimension.

Adramellech: Curses! I will not leave this place just yet!

Adramellech fleed from the Fourth Guardian's presence to avoid being sent back to the Dark Dimension. Fourth Guardian Selaphiel was busy opening the portal, so he didn't pursue immediately.

Adramellech went to the chamber where the Second Guardian was working on the arsenal of light. He had already completed three weapons: a sword that commanded light, a staff that brought life, and a hammer that could take the form of other weapons. He was working on a pair of knuckles when Adramellech busted into the chamber and uttered a quick incantation in an unrecognizable language.

Second Guardian: What have you done?!

Adramellech: ANTITHESIS!

Adramellech had just done two things. First, he laid a curse on the three weapons of light, so the bearers wouldn't be able to use their full potential without consequence. And second, he copied the weapons made by the Second Guardian, thus making three weapons of darkness appear. They were not the same as the arsenal of light, but they stood for the opposite of the models they were copied from. These three later became known as the arsenal of darkness.

The Second Guardian attacked Adramellech with Extermination Ray, a powerful beam of pure, unfiltered energy that had only been mastered by the Guardians. This beam of energy exterminated any living thing it touched without fail. Adramellech countered with his own version of Extermination Ray. Both energy beams collided and were battling for dominance to see whose was the more powerful. So far, it appeared that they were both evenly matched. But then the Fourth Guardian entered the chamber.

Fourth Guardian: This is the end of the line for you, FIEND!

POWER THAT FUELED CREATION ITSELF... MANIFEST TO DE-CREATE THE UNWORTHY!

EXTERMINATION RAY!!!

Seeing himself against two Extermination rays, Adramellech thought he was done for. But a group of angels jumped in the way of the blast to shield him from the attack. They were obliterated.

Second Guardian: What is the meaning of this?!

Fourth Guardian: Is he perhaps controlling them with some unholy magic?

Angel Captain: No one is controlling us. We, of our own accord, have decided to go with Adramellech. Our brothers made the ultimate sacrifice to help him do what must be done! Death to all humans!

Fourth Guardian: You fools! Do not let him deceive you!

Adramellech: I believe the only deceiver here is you, Selaphiel. Shall I speak what I know in the presence of the Second Guardian, Zaphkiel?

The Fourth Guardian quickly conjured a portal to the Dark Dimension, sending Adramellech and the angels that sided with him through it.

The Second Guardian was left curious about the whole thing, but he didn't ask Selaphiel anything.

Shortly after, all the Guardians met with the entire host of angels to share some pressing issues about the ordeal.
