Coincidence or fate?

A trail of blood descended from the mountain range to the opposite side of where the battle was taking place... what was left of the mountain range, at least. Someone involved in the battle had lost a lot of blood. Judging from the distance of that sighting to where the actual battle took place, it turned out to be a somewhat confusing matter, raising more questions than anything else. Like, who was this wounded person? Was it a man or a woman? Could it have been a monster? An experienced hunter would probably be able to tell... However, footprints revealed everything we needed to know. Blood-stained footprints combined with a blood trail. Those were, in fact, the tracks of a woman... Of a woman that was about to die.
