A Knight's worth (II)

Richard was still standing. He got cut somewhere above his forehead, and the bleeding wasn't stopping. Some of the blood was already impairing his vision (on top of the dizziness starting to affect him). His insides were shaken quite harshly, and even his armor seemed dented. Despite all that, Richard was still standing. His determination was admirable... No one could ever question his courage. But the truth was that he was in way over his head. It took all his strength and then some only to remain standing, but he was in no condition to continue fighting, and deep down, he already knew that. The only thing was that he was unwilling to die on his knees.

Suddenly there was this familiar voice addressing the enemy.

Richard: {Hold on a moment... I know that voice... Is that...? Where is he? I cannot--see him...}
