Chapter 04:- System

Alex now William couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and uncertainty as he contemplated his situation. He was now in a world where the rules seemed to have been rewritten, and he had no choice but to adapt. His inner monologue continued as he thought about the precarious nature of protagonists in this world.

"I have to stay calm and think about how to survive in a world where protagonists meet their demise like it's a daily occurrence," William mumbled to himself. He chuckled awkwardly, realizing that such thoughts were hardly reassuring.

After a brief pause, he corrected himself, "Okay, maybe that wasn't the best way to calm myself down."

Restlessness overcame him, and he stood up, pacing back and forth in the unfamiliar room. Finally, he decided, "I should assess my abilities first. My plan will depend on that."

With determination, William called out, "System, open the status menu for me."

The response was swift as the system's voice chimed in, "You called, Will. What will you do with checking your ability again? I've already told you that your ability holds a very high potential. Just listen to me and train in it."

William sighed, "Quit your spouting and show me the status."

"You called my advice a spouting you know that I am one of the best system in the universe " "Ya ok-ok but show me my status at first though"

A melodic bell chime signaled the appearance of the status menu.

William was taken aback by the information displayed on the screen. He muttered to himself, "the f**k how didn't I not know  the name William Drakewill? There wasn't even a mention of this name in the novel. And these stats… they're almost identical to the protagonists'. Even if they are similar to the weakest among them, this is insane."

He then noticed the question marks beside his race and other categories, prompting him to ask, "System, what's with all these question marks? Does that mean I'm not even human?"

The system responded, "Don't assume too much. Those question marks indicate that there's dormant bloodline potential within you."

I know what you are thinking and yes this system and all the other systems have personality based on there host body but I don't think my personality is like this right.

Alex frowned, trying to make sense of the situation. He wondered aloud, "So you're saying there's a chance I can unlock this bloodline and gain its power?"

The system replied, "There is a chance, but it won't be easy. You've tried for three years with no success. Are you sure you want to pursue it?"

Alex's determination shone through as he stated firmly, "Yes, there's a chance, and that's enough for me." After that he murmured to himself "Besides, I'm taking an opportunity that was supposed to be for the main hero."

"Before you say anything about how the main hero will defend this world if I take this opportunity, remember that he's the main protagonist. Wherever he goes, there'll be a world-shaking opportunity for him.And for me, I have to seize this chance if I want to stay alive in this world."

With his decision made, William requested a map from the system and located his destination.He had make his plan on how he will move forward, first he have to go to a train station and select the area b-22 which is know as star forest and after that he will go to the middle of the forest.where the item is located.
