Wedding part 4: Lady Ruby of Ledger

"Empress Athena, I absolutely love your dress, do you mind sharing the designer with us" A lady asked Athena as she was talking to the ladies

"I'm afraid not, the designer does not wish to be known at the moment", Athena said with her most "genuine" smile

"It is understandable", the lady said and laughed it off

"My love", Deimos called and kissed Athena's cheek when he got to where she stood

"Are you done with your conversation?" Athena asked

"Yes, I missed you" he said and put his arms around her shoulders, hugging her from behind

"You two are the most beautiful couple I have ever experienced getting married and your love seems so pure" A lady said to Athena and Deimos with a smile on her

"Thank you very much, I am quite lucky to have a man like Deimos as a husband", Athena said and put her hand on Deimos'

"The lucky one is me to have you", he said

"You two are going to make me cry because of all this love", Lady Ruby said as she fangirled over the couple

"Thank you, you are going to make me blush", Athena said as she blushed

"Look at that, she's turning red, how cute", Lady Ruby said as she held another lady's arm

"My wife is cute, but you will have to excuse us, the wedding is just beginning", Deimos said and without waiting for a reply he took Athena's hand and they walked away

"Ugh, that was the most annoying conversation ever" Athena said to Deimos

"I thought I was the only one who felt it, how about we do something fun?" Deimos suggested

"Depends, what type of fun ?" Athena asked

"The one that involves red" Deimos said and Athena smiled at him

"What have you gotten planned Deimos?" Athena asked with curiosity

"It's not me, but you my wife, who are we killing today?" Deimos asked

"You see Lady Ruby?" Athena asked

"Yes, what about her?" Deimos asked

"I want her to be the leader of the Ledge family" Athena said

"But isn't her brother next in line?" Deimos asked

"What brother?" Athena asked him with a slightly tilled face

"Oh, so he's the target" Deimos finally realised and Athena nodded in agreement

"But wouldn't killing him without a sin be too much?" Deimos asked

"Are you being sympathetic?" Athena asked with a confused look on her face

"I'm just worried you'll get too much blood on your hands, so much blood that you won't be able to wash it all off", Deimos said and with that, Athena took her hands and held his cheeks

"In this world, the only one I see as a human is you, everyone else is just walking skeletons, their blood ran out long ago", Athena told him
