The right bride

"Duke William", I greeted as I sat down, I had a feeling this was going to be a long day

"Emporer Deimos, how are you?", the Duke greeted me back with a huge smile which made me ask myself whether he ever gave Athena this kind of smile or even a simple genuine smile

"Do you need me to call Chloe for you?", he asked me, what made these people think that the person I was marrying would be Chloe?

"No, I saw the princess with Princess Athena and Earl George", I said and just the thought of her made me want to smile so badly, I missed seeing her already. How did I survive this long without her?

"Oh, so is this about the engagement?", he asked and I nodded

"I've been to many households trying to find my bride and I did in yours, it's one of the princesses and I'll only announce which princess it is at the ball", Deimos said

"Thank you very much, we are honoured", he said with a smile as he held my hand

"It's nothing, I'll take my leave", I said as I removed his hand from mine, I hated physical contact very much, yet I was craving Athena's touch so much

"Let me walk you out", he said as he stood up and we both walked out, after he got back I saw Chloe going to where her father was, probably to complain, what a spoiled brat

After a long and tiring day, I finally went back to the residence where I was living only to meet Felix who was of course nagging about the marriage

Your majesty, do you plan to choose a bride tomorrow?", Felix asked me

"Of course not", I answered him truthfully

"That is a relief", he said and smiled, what was so wrong about me getting married?

"For I have chosen my bride today", I said and smiled at him, which probably gave him a mini heart attack

"You can not be serious, marriage is not a game and in your case, it is very important that we find the right bride" Felix said to me as if he had married before

"I have found the right bride, she will be my wife tomorrow, even the goddess knows it", I said and smiled as I remembered her voice, her face and her, well everything about her

"You are never so rational, what is so different about this woman?" Felix asked curiously

"She has a charm only I could notice by chance, a charm that she kept hidden from others all these years, she is an interesting character", I said and saying all of that about her made me miss her more. I had to see her, so I stood up from my chair and started walking away

"Where are you going!" Felix shouted

"To see my fiancé!" I shouted back as I walked away. I had to find her, I had to ask her to marry me
