The first time I met her

Deimon's POV

I remember it as if it were yesterday, I was in a very bad mood due to my arranged meeting with Chloe, I didn't like her one bit, she was spoiled and very scheming, scheming was important if you were to be a ruler, but her scheming was not that of a ruler, it was that of someone who wanted to control everyone that stepped in her circle

As I walked to the Rose garden I could hear voices, it seemed as if they were arguing over something

"Sister. George and I are just familiar, there is no romantic relationship between us", the girl Chloe said which was a lie, everyone was very well aware of how she and the young man were involved which surprised me since I heard that she had a little sister who was engaged to the Earl, was that who she was talking to?

"Looks like you are familiar enough to call him just George and Chloe, I never said you did. I was just thinking out loud. Don't get so tensed, you'll gain wrinkles at an early age", the sweetest voice said, something in me just kept asking and begging me to go and see her, touch her and take her with me, just hearing her voice did so much to me

"Princess Athena is right", Chloe said as she laughed it off awkwardly, so that was her. Athena, the girl I was going to have, the one whom I knew was my soulmate just by hearing her voice

"I'm sure, I have lost my appetite so I will say what I came here to say. Earl Georg, I would formally like to break our engagement", Athena said, she was getting more interesting each second, that was the type of attitude a ruler should have

"What do you mean you wish to break off the engagement?", Chloe asked her

"As you heard Chloe. I fall for another", she said and I heard her stand up, was she going to go without letting me see her face or anything?

"What do you mean you fall for another?", the Earl asked and she screamed a little

"Like I fancy someone else, so let go of my hand", she said without batting an eye, the way she regained her composure truly amazed me

"No, you and I shall get married whether you like it or not", the Earl said desperately when he said that, my feet just moved by themselves, the only thing that was in my head was to stop her from getting hooked up in his fingers and allowing him to take her away from me. She was mine.

"I said let go you manwhore!", Athena yelled as she picked up a plate from the table with her one hand and hit Geoege's hand with it to say I was shocked would be a lie, I was beyond shocked, it was such a surprising scene that I didn't even see the glass scratching my cheek

"Dear Lord" Chloe gasped, that was the only way I noticed my blood dripping, the thing I hated seeing the most was blood and I was seeing it in front of my mate. What was she going to think of me after I killed everyone around her?
