"Athena" he called out her name as he caressed her face, did she also have those types of dreams or did she perhaps remember him?

"Why are you awake at this hour?" Athena asked him while closing her eyes

"I should ask you the same my wife" Deimos said which made Athena sit up therefore making Deimos sit up as well

"I had to fend for myself at that place, now tell me, what's bothering you my love" Athena asked as she held his checks

"I just had a dream," Deimos told her

"Want to talk about it?" Athena asked

"It was a happy dream, but there was a feeling that it wasn't going to be happy til the end, you were there. It was you and I. You were so happy, you looked amazing around roses" Deimos said and Athena was speechless. Did he start to remember everything?

"You look a bit pale, are you okay?" Deimos asked as he saw his wife who just stared at him with no emotion whatsoever

"Is there anything more?" Athena asked and the expression on her face made Deimos want to tell her more, her face was filled with curiosity, curiosity to confirm

"You were wearing a very beautiful yellow dress, it looked like no other dress, it suited you so well, it made your eyes stand out. You were so happy" Deimos continued telling her as he held her hands. Her face, her face told him his answer. She knew something about it. She definitely did. She could see the scene too

"What were we doing?" Athena asked

"Running around and kissing, we were happy" Deimos said and his wife started smiling at him as she heard him speak of his dream with a huge smile on his face

"I hope you dream more" Athena said and hugged him tight

"I promise that I will" Deimos said which made Athena laugh, he spoke as if he had the power to control what he dreams

"Let's sleep, it's still too early to wake up," Athena said and got into the blankets with a smile on her face

He wanted to ask her if she was keeping something from him, but he didn't want to ruin the mood and he knew that if she was ready, she would tell him on her own so he was not going to prey anymore, instead, he was going to keep dreaming and spending his days being the best husband for his beautiful wife. This timeline was going to have a different ending. A happy ending.

"My beautiful wife," Deimos said when he got into the blankets and kissed Athena's neck

He pulled her closer to him and buried his face into her neck, her scent intoxicated him. He was addicted to it so much. It drove him crazy, it made him want to lock her up in their bedroom so that only he could see her beautiful face, and be the only one to touch her. He wanted to be the only one she could rely on, if that was the case then no matter what happens in the future she would not leave him. Oh how he wanted to kill himself for having such thoughts, but what could you do, that was what happened if one was mated with a dragon. A dragon's life will either break you, make you or kill those around you. Deimos' love was the type that was going to kill all those around her so she could only think of him and only him, he had marked her, he took her first and she took his his. There was no turning back. It was all set in stone

Thinking of all that made him smile as he pulled Athena closer, inhaling her scent within him. His eyes turned red. Athena felt it.

"Sleep," she told him as she felt the change in his eyes. His obsession was still the same. That thought made her smile.
