Receiving Respect

"Presenting Empress Athena and Emporer Deimos of the North, alongside Prince Leonidas of the South," the announcer said as the three of them entered. All eyes were on them

"Oh, look at that, the outfits," a lady said as had noticed Deimos' and Athena's outfits

"It must be the work of the mysterious designer, I must have someone look into who she is," a lady said to her friends and they all agreed

"Emporer Deimos, Athena, welcome" King Josh walked to the three with a smile

"What type of disrespect is this King Josh? Who do you think you are to call my Empress by name?" Deimos asked him as he stared into his eyes

"My apologies, it's just that she's my niece, so I am used to calling her comfortably," King Josh said

"She is no longer an Abato, she is not involved in your family situations, the only reason we are here is that we need to represent our Kingdom, that's all," Deimos said clearly to the king

"Understood, I apologise for calling you by the name Empress, please do forgive me," King Josh said to Athena who looked at him with wonder

She found it crazy that a person could fake sincerity so much, the king surely had made an amazing actor in Morden life

"It's okay King Josh, mistakes happen" Athena said and smiled at him

"I truly am sorry" the King said trying to emphasise his fake apology

"King, it is only nature that you would not expect to accord me respect, as it was you who have been accustomed to receiving respect from me all these years," Athena said smiled

Those words shocked people, how was true? Everyone knew that Athena was the one with the most power in the royal household before she got married, so it didn't make sense that the can was used to receive respect from her, who was above him

"Of course, oh prince Leonidas, I'm sorry for not noticing you earlier your Highness" the kind greeted Leonidas who was just standing next to Deimos and Athena watching everything unfold

"Its good to see that you have eyes" Leonidas said as he looked at the king seriously, it was as if he was trying to threaten him with his eyes

"What brings here if I may ask cousin?" Chloe asked as she walked to where they were standing

"First of all, I am not your cousin daughter of Duke, call me cousin and I will I will make sure you won't be able to auteur a word ever again" Leo said seriously

He hated her, out of all the children, he hated her the most and she deserved something worse than death, her presence alone made him want to throw up
