Mate

"Today was tiring," Athena said and made herself fall on the bed

"It truly was," Deimos said and sat on the bed

"Should you not go to your bedroom?" Athena asked

"I don't feel like being away from my fiancee" Deimos and took his shoes off

"What are you doing?" Athena asked

"Sleeping," he said and slept next to her

"It's still daylight and you have not eaten anything yet," Athena said and moved closer to him

"You care so much about me," Deimos said to her

"Of course I do, you are my mate after all," Athena said and started brushing his hair with her fingers

"That feels nice," Deimos said and closed his eyes

"You're just too cute" Athena said and kissed his forehead

"You're even cuter", Deimos said and put his arms around her waist

"You enjoy holding my waist, don't you?" Athena asked

"I enjoy holding every body part of yours, your waist just makes me know that you're mine and you're here," Deimos said

"Oh. That's understandable, but now you have to get up and go eat" Athena said

"Athena, I don't want to eat, I want to stay in bed with you," Deimos said

"Are all dragons this attached to their mates?" Athena asked as she sighed

"If they had a mate like you, they would also be attached," Deimos said

"So, it's my fault?" Athena asked and Deimos nodded which made her chuckle

"I love you, Athena," Deimos said as he looked into her eyes

"Of course you love me. I am your mate after all" Athena said and closed her eyes

She loved Deimos as well, but she didn't want to say anything, after all to him they had only met.

"Sleep well my love" Deimos said and kissed Athena's forehead when she closed her eyes

After staying for a while and making sure she was resting well, Deimos stood up and got out of her room.

When he walked into his office, about 6 people were already waiting for him in there

"As you all know, tomorrow is my wedding day with Athena Rosa" Deimos said and all he could hear were whispers

"After our wedding, we will be leaving for the North and I want everyone to be on their best behaviour there. I don't want any misunderstandings with my wife and if anyone makes her unhappy, I don't care which status you are in, you will pay with death, I want those words to spread all over" Deimos said and left without saying anything else
