"I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you, I truly am," Deimos told his wife as he held her tight, never in his life had he ever been that disappointed in himself and to make it worse, he didn't seem to remember a thing too

"I hated that I was weak, I hated that I was not good enough for you and most importantly I hated that you loved me so much" Athena said as she stared at Deimos who had tears in his eyes whilst holding her tight as it she was going to disappear the moment he let go

"I love you and I will always love you even if it means that you have to hate me," Deimos said to Athena who smiled at his words, he was the same as ever, nothing really changed about him and that was completely clear to see

"I love you too and I'm sorry, I'm really sorry for blaming you, I know that if you had a choice, you would have chosen to remember every single detail about me and you would have never chosen to die and leave me alone, I was just scared, I was scared that the next day I would wake up and find out that you and I were just never meant to be," Athena said as tears were still falling from her eyes

"Listen, my love, you and I are meant to be and that I am fully aware of and even if we weren't, I would rewrite our fate so that we can be entangled forever," Deimos said and kissed her forehead whilst Athena closed her eyes allowing all the happiness to overtake her

"Now promise me that you won't ever keep such hurtful things to yourself ever again," Deimos told Athena and just stared at him and started laughing a little

"I promise" she promised him, a promise she would never break

Deimos smiled and leaned in close to her and their lips met as they both let their desires lead the way as they were about to let things go further the was a knock

"Empower, Empress" Butler Deigo called

"For goodness sake what is it!?" Deimos yelled really pissed off, of all times it had to be then

"There is news about Vessel Marco and Princess Charlotte, apparently they were killed on their way to the Vessle's manor," Deigo said and Deimos was beyond shocked

"What do you mean, come in," Deimos said for by then they were both decent and sitting on the bed

"As I said they got killed" Deigo said as he stood in front of them

"Do we know who did it?" Deimos asked and Deigo just looked at Athena who was looking at him as well

"It was you wasn't it?" Deimos asked Athena when he noticed the eye contact between the two

"Yes it was me, I am not a woman who lets things go so easily Emporer Deimos, Vessel Marcus had it coming and as for the princess, she was at the wrong time, at the wrong place and with the wrong people, she should have listened and kept her enemies closer than her friends," Athena said as she looked at Deimos who just sighed at her statement

"So are you going to punish me for killing one of your men?" Athena asked Deimos

"My love for you is too deep to allow me to punish you my heart" Deimos said and kissed near her ear
