"You lied to me, you lied Deimos!" Athena shouted at him as tears fell down her cheeks

"I'm sorry my heart, I didn't mean to," Deimos said in a weak voice

"Don't you fuckin die on me, you fuckin promised that you would be with me forever and you here you are breaking your promise again, you hate me, you fuckin hate me!" Athena shouted at him as her legs finally gave up on her, every power she had in her was gone

He almost died, he almost left her again, and the memories were coming back to her like speeding cars

"I'm sorry Athena, don't cry, seeing you cry breaks me," Deimos said as he used all his power to stand up, ignoring how painful his chest was

He kneeled on the floor where she was crying and shivering, she was terrified and he could see it, he was the one who placed her in that type of state, why was he so stupid, he hated himself for her tears

"My love, I'm sorry, I'll quit my work and stay with you Athena, please don't cry," Deimos said to her as he held her shoulders desperately

"You don't know the feeling of fucking losing someone you love Deimos, I lost you, I lost you not once, not twice, but 3 times, I witnessed you die 3 damn times!" Athena shouted at him, why would he scare her like this, of all people it was him

"I'm sorry" Those were the words Deimos could only say. He didn't know what to do, if only he hadn't been shot then, actually if only he quit being a secret agent then none of what was happening would have happened

His wife was a strong woman, but once she cried, it felt as if the earth also cried with her and that did many hurtful things to him, it was as if his body was killing itself

"I promise to listen to you," Deimos said and held both her cheeks gently and made her look at him

"I promise that I will never let you sad again, I swear" Deimos promised her and kissed her eyes

"I hate you" Athena whispered, but Deimos knew she didn't mean it, she just hated the feeling of sadness he gave her

"I love you too baby" Deimos said and hugged her making Athena hug him back

And then he woke up

"Are you okay?" Athena asked Deimos as she saw him sitting on the bed with his head down instead of sleeping

"It's okay baby, go sleep," Deimos said, those words came out without him needing to think about it at all and he looked at Athena and her reaction told him everything and more

"Tell me what it is that you're hiding from me," Deimos said to Athena who stared at him, why did he call her that word? He only called her that when they lived a modern life, how was he calling her those words?

"I'm hiding nothing, sleep" Athena said and laid down

"Athena tell me…., please. I know you know something, my heart" Deimos said but Athena ignored him and closed her eyes as tears fall down. Who was she kidding, he didn't remember at all, all he knew were words, those memories were never real
